Close, but out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Rudesheim, we found this lovely and quaint family-run restaurant and inn. After parking, we only used the car to drive the Rhein and countryside and to drive the very short distance to downtown Rudesheim (5 minutes away). The price was even exceptionally reasonable, even in the high season! We liked... More

The room was lovely, breakfast lovely, restaurant lovely and the entertainment in the bar was great. But there is no air conditioning in the room which means that you have to have the window open. When the bar entertainment finished a group of people stood in the street for half an hour laughing and shouting. This would not have been... More

We recently spent one night at the hotel on a personal bicycling trip along the Rhine. We had originally wanted to stay in Rudesheim, but many hotels had a 2 night minimum on the weekend and we wanted only one night. When we bicycled through Rudesheim we were happy that we did not stay there -- too many crowds and... More

We stayed for 4 nights. The Hotel is an interesting period building in a charming village. Room comfortable and quiet. Food quality at dinner below par and served school dinner style. Dining room too small for the number of guests resulting in cramped seating and service certainly not up to expected standard. Most staff were welcoming and helpful but there... More

This was a coach trip with Alpha.. We found the room average. as was the main meal although I must say continental breakfast was excellent. downside was seating arrangements, very easy to get trapped in especially at breakfast. Bar staff and waiters were nice but we didn't find reception very helpful on the couple of times we called in. certainly... More

We have recently returned from this hotel after a LEGER trip to German Grand Prix. We arrived shortly after midnight after a really long journey and were met at reception with our keys. This hotel is really lovely, we had a lovely room in the Annex, 111 our room had a four poster bed and a gorgeous bathroom (With shower,... More

Stayed here for two nights as part of a coach tour. Friendly welcome. Our room was full of character and quite large, with pretty lace curtains. The bathroom was huge and all appointed and spotless. The hotel itself is a bit of a rabbit warren but full of charm and very traditional in its decor - lots of wood. It... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a Leger holidays trip going to see the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Hockenheim. This 600 year old hotel is actually in Assmanshausen, which is around a bend in the Rhine from Rüdesheim am Rhein. The hotel is split between a beautiful old building and a more modern annex. Overall, the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights while going to see the Formula 1 in Hockenheim with Leger holidays. The hotel is 2 hours away from the track by coach which is a little far. The hotel was nice and clean. And the breakfast was good if not a little limited. As the itinerary was very busy we didn’t spend much... More

We came here with a Great Rail Journey group. The main hotel is a beautiful old building (and annex), and provides basic but adequate food. However, we were extremely unhappy to find ourselves checked into a room (106) in the annex, with the only daylight filtering in from the bottom of an enclosed shaft - other group members had been...
