We stayed here for three nights as part of a coach group. The hotel is very quaint and resembles an Austrian or Swiss mountain hotel. The rooms are very different so a generalisation is difficult. Our room was small but comfortable. The shower and bathroom were adequate but there were no extras such as a mini bar or TV/Coffee facilities.... More

We as many other reviewers stayed at this hotel whilst visiting the Magical Xmas Markets tour with Ledger holidays . We were really impressed with the hotel , the food was really good and our room although it was in the adjacent building was very clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite . It was our first visit to Germany... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a coach party visiting the Christmas Markets in the area. The building is really old, which adds to its charm. To get to the dining area felt like a treasure hunt - stairs going up and down, corridors winding this way and that and a bridge linking the two buildings. Our room... More

We had a lovely overnight stay here. The room was spacious with our daughter staying downstairs and we had a loft bedroom. The building is very pretty! The breakfast was really nice too. Very authentically German:) The service was great. The area was extremely quiet but it is winter. The markets at Rudisheim were beautiful but beware that you will... More

Isnt really Rudesheim, but nearby Asschmanhausen. Stayed for 3 nights whilst doing the local Xmas markets - a nice clean hotel, with good food, great wine and a very dry witted, hard working barman. He(forgot to get his name!)served wine, beer tea and coffee, waited tables, cleared up and after the first night remembered what wine we had ordered. before... More

Leger coach tours included this hotel in their Christmas markets trip to Germany. It's a very good place to travel from being close to Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, Koblenz and Rudesheim and is near the banks of the Rhein but Assmannshausen itself is a small (but picturesque) place so you need a car to get around if you travel on your own.... Stayed at this hotel as part of a St Leger coach tour. This hotel is clean, pleasant to stay at, well placed for Christmas market torurs and provides a good range of food. Particularly vegetarian choices. The buffet breakfast is good and the evening meal choices are excellent. Three choices for starters, main and dessert and always a veggie choice... More

Stayed here during a coach trip with Leger to the Christmas markets. Lovely hotel with spotless comfortable rooms which are all slightly different. Food was very good & staff were all very helpful. The village looked very picturesque but we didn`t have a lot of time to explore as we were out visiting all the markets. Would like to come... More

OH it's been a joy to stay here. I don't want to leave. Lovely big room, comfortable bed, immaculate snowy white linen, soft and warm. The room and the bathroom were spotless. Just home from home - beautifully kept. The room was tidied and cleaned daily - so remained fresh and welcoming. Nice touch that a bottle of water was... More

We have just returned from a coach trip to the German Christmas markets and stayed at this hotel. Staff were lovely, food great and hotel cosy. I loved the chap who did the evening entertainment in the restaurant! We got the best room of the 6 of us travelling together, the rooms varied enormously even though we all laid the... More
