Spent 5 days at this excellent little hotel early September with my wife and daughter as part of a coach tour. Everything was first class. The food was very good, the whole place was spotless and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff could not be bettered. Even down to cleaning my wife,s white fleece in pristine condition after it... More

At this point of the Rhine you've been travelling its length since the Low Countries or even the North Sea. This pilgrimage lark in the Year 1328 is a tad exhausting and you've not even got to Santiago de Compostela where you can sup from a holy source and flagellate yourself.....possibly even at the same time. So, before you face... More

This hotel was the perfect ending to a very long day of flying over the atlantic. The owners were delightful and went out of thier way to help us enjoy our stay in their hotel and the town of Rudesheim. Breakfast was wonderful and the restaurtant at the hotel served a fabulous dinner. I highly recommend this hotel to those... More

My husband and I stayed here on a recent trip to Germany to visit my family. The hotel is lovely! It is small and quaint with a very welcoming feeling and a small dining area on site. The bed in our room was very hard and we ended up sleeping on top of our blankets to add some cushion but... More

Charming dining room and attentive service. Food was imaginatively varied and all totally delicious. We had two starters (spring rolls), 3 main courses (schnitzel - massive!, pork steaks and duck), 2 desserts (inc choc and cherry pud with stunning kirsch ice-cream) and a bottle of prize- winning Riesling (Leitz Magic Mountain €25). Total €114. Yummy :)

We stayed here for a couple of nights in July, primarily to take a Rhine river cruise and visit the town. This hotel is everything that I hoped for. Not too big, with a fine restaurant. It is extremely clean and very well maintained. The staff are particularly nice and helpful. You do not go here for the scenic views.... More

This is a lovely small hotel with good food and is reasonably priced. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms accessible to the public in the dining area are spotless. I have nothing negative to say about this establishment. The proprietor and staff are all very polite and they go out of their way to be helpful. You... More

We stayed here for five nights in July. The hotel is very quaint. The hotel is well sited for the station and the town. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Our room on the third floor had a view of the Rhine. However, do ask for a room with air conditioning as it was... More

Hotel itself was quite charming and breakfast good after French breakfasts eated before... But the street noise was terrible and because we only had a fan in our room, not real air-conditioning we had to keep our window open all night. It was quite impossible to sleep at all.

We were back to Rudesheim for the Rhine in Flames and had no problem deciding where to stay. This hotel is "Out of this World" The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The Breakfast is terrific. The staff are friendly and every day in Reception you can get help as to what you may like to see. The Rhine is... More
