We have stayed at the Vila Vita Rosenpark several times. The food is good, the rooms pleasant and spacious and Marburg is a very nice small town in a beautiful part of Germany. Unfortunately the Michelin starred restaurant no longer exists but the food quality in the hotel's main restaurant is very good and breakfast excellent. A very nice place... More

Our suite was a beautiful, spacious corner unit with a balcony overlooking the river... During the sweltering July heatwave our room remained remarkably comfortable thanks to the cross breezes we enjoyed on an upper floor. Wellness and fitness areas were immaculate. Buffet breakfast offered an ample spread of gourmet delicacies. Parking garage underground is very convenient, clean and reasonable. Location... More

I recently stayed here for business and found this to be a lovely, charming hotel. Great for couples who want a romantic type hotel. I stayed in the hotel section in a large room (there are apt hotel rooms which I understand do not have AC.) They provided a full breakfast, have a lovely bar and lounge area (with piano... More

I may be wrong but I was informed that this hotel apparently was originally built as a retirement/sheltered accommodation. This is reflected in some of the rooms which look more like studio apartments with small kitchens, sitting areas balcony and separate bedroom - but with the unmistakable feel of a retirement home rather than hotel suite. There are other more... More

Several weeks ago we (a party of five) had lunch at the restaurant of the Rosenpark hotel to celebrate the birthday of one of us. The hotel is very nice and its five stars are well deserved. The underground parking is very convenient and provides direct access to the hotel. The parking ticket can be validated in order to reduce... More

Setting: Very close to downtown situated right on the river banks. I was told that the rooms at the main building are the good ones (I spent 2 nights there). My room was up to date, comfortable, clean with a very nice bathroom. Wifi strength was good. Nespresso machine included in the room. There are other apartment like rooms, which... More

Located in a very beautiful place this hotel is such a prize you give for yourself. Honest price and luxurious facilities make your stay unforgettable. Fancy atmosphere, nice and always available staff, large and beautiful room, spectacular swimming pool and other great facilities give you all the comfort and pleasure you need in Marchenstrasse route. Impeccable!

I just stumbled with the hotel review looking for something else. I remember I spent a week there back in 2003. I loved it. I stayed at a suite, but the room wasn't very luxurious, the bed was quite small, but the room was comfortable and the Spa/Wellness Center was amazing. It is still one of my favorite places in... I traveled with 3 friends. We had to wait for 2 hours until our rooms were ready. In the meantime we had a schnapps or two at the bar which is well supplied but also very overpriced. We booked 2 separate double rooms. The rooms are OK. We had nice view towards the river though. To get to the spa... More

I had a meeting north of Frankfurt and decided to stay in Marburg. The hotel was less than half price of similar quality hotels in Frankfurt, and I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is within easy walking distance from Marburg innenstadt, and in close proximity of the sights there. Rooms were nice and of decent size, everything... More
