We expected more from a 4 star hotel. The room felt very basic: Just a big bottle for soap/shampoo, no real wardrobes, boring, soulless interior. It seemed like our minibar got removed. Parking is not cheap either, with 15 euros per day, which you also pay if you don't park for 24 hours, but for instance 18. The bed is... More

Pros- Perfect location to walk the city!! You can walk across the street from the hotel to take the elevator up and will find plenty of restaurants and shops. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was all very friendly and helpful in calling taxis. Cons- The automatic lights in the hallways were a bit strange. The hallways remained... More

Stayed at the Welcome Hotel in Marburg for a few nights in July. The Hotel is very nice and new and had all amenities of a standard hotel. Across the street is an elevator that takes you up to the old town which was great!! Happened to come there during their annual Festival with bands playing (Mostly English pop music)... More

The location of this hotel is very good, also the building is new and very clean. Not all the staff speak English which can be a problem for international visitors, but they were very helpful. I would stay there again for business and leisure visits. Also Marburg is a really beautiful town.

Short stay here while in Marburg for business, and overall a very nice hotel with terrific amenities. Spacious rooms, good restaurant, and very close to the historical part of town. Very modern hotel with an eye for detail. Within easy walking distance of Elizabeth Church and shopping. Will stay here again.

This hotel is modern and provides all the amenities you may wish for. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good, but for us it was lacking a bit of atmosphere. It is close to the old town though, which is well worth a visit both by day and night.

Location, location, location could be the best feature of this pleasant hotel, just below the old town and across from the lift that takes you up on the hill. In addition, the receptionist was a charm and the direct access to the parking is very practical.

Ask for room 311 and you will have a lovely big balcony with a fantastic view! Good breakfast, very nice staff, but the wifi is bad if you are there to work, which I was. There are lots of good places to eat nearby.
