“good a for a budget stay over”

I would raher define it as a Guesthouse, somewhere stuck in the 80s ..run by a family. i found it on booking.com as a good deal for a night stay to visit Kassel and surrounding with my partner. the rooms are basic clean and tidy .... not modern but good enough to stay for a night.
