This Fulda hotel is very good for people on travel through Germany, we were a family of 5 and got a very spacy room/suite with 2 bathrooms. it was also a nice roof terrasse to use for this room, so we can reccomend this. Very nice breakfast. Not so good that the reception closes at 10 pm, and no roomservice,... More

We spent a lovely Sunday night in the Altstadthotel Arte in the centre of Fulda, in the "Barockviertel" - baroque quarter, the old town of this lovely small city. The room was big, quiet and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in Hommann's Brauhaus, a lovely modern Gasthof mini-brewery with superb food. Their dinner... The Altstadthotel is a small but comfortable and moderately priced place in walking distance to all of Fulda's attractions. It is associated with a brewery that runs a restaurant across the street and a free glass of beer is offered upon checking in. During summertime meals and drinks are also served underneath big trees in front of the hotel. The... More

Great place, great service, great location. A little loud on the weekend night from the bar across the street. Otherwise a great deal. Everything is within walking distance. Limited parking on the street 10 Euro per night parking in the garage

This hotel is tucked away on a quiet square in a less-visited part of Fulda near the interesting Old Quarter. Rooms are very modern (almost Scandinavian design), with lots of bright colours. My room had a balcony, although there was an alarming gap between the balcony itself and the floor. Hotel is very self-consciously "designer-ish", with lots of art throughout.... More

Hotel is in a nice area close to everything. Central station, the castle and major clubs, bars & restaurants are within 5 min walking time. Rooms are very basic but clean. Big LCD TV. No minibar in the room. Bathroom had smell of detergent. Staff is very helpful and English speaking which is not common in this town :)

Charming old hotel in the old town (not easy to find without GPS ..) Hotel parking in the basement, a necessity since there is very limited parking at street level. Nice reception staff. Rooms: 7/10 points. A little old fashioned and boring room, but very large (superior 35 sq m), with a large sofa and a large LCD TV. Free... More

Arrived quite late and the sat Nav got me to the door which is right on a nice square in the middle of town. Friendly English speaking reception and a clean, pleasant room. Car park in basement a bit tricky with the rental people carrier car I had as the bays are on some weird metal platform thing. Good to... More

This is a lovely hotel with much effort put into providing extras! The room was large, clean and exactly what we wanted. The breakfast and dinner was very good served in the bar area next door. Staff were great- the town is lovely too
