We arrived and were greeted by welcoming and helpful reception staff, before being taken to our über clean room- complete with gummi bears on the pillow! The hotel is just a stone's throw away from the train station and most attractions are not too far on foot. The continental breakfast was enjoyable and the hotel allowed us to leave our... More

The hotel is within minutes walk to the railway station even with luggage. The entrance to hotel was through an arcade way off the main road although it can be just as easily accessed off the side streets, which appeared sleazy at night but presented no problem to us.The staff were very accommodating with our late arrival due to airline... This was a highly functional small hotel in Frankfurt. Typically small European style rooms, with a single bed, since I was a single. That is one of the funny peculiarities of budget/middle class hotels in Europe. Very convenient to the train station and far enough from the drug addled distrct that their is no infestation. Included breakfast is typically German--centered... More

We stayed at Hotel Adler on December 6 for two nights. We shared a triple room (all single beds) located in the roof. Both room and spacious private bathroom were clean. Room may not be as big as North America standards but it was big enough for all of us. The only negative side is that there is no control... More

We stayed here only one night, the last of our European vacation before going home. The staff were friendly and the room, while small, was clean, comfortable and perfectly fine. The location is conveniently close (an easy walk even with luggage) to the main train station. The Internet was FREE (watch out … the one “extra” thing some European hotels... More

I was sent to the Frankfurt Book Fair on a very short notice and this was the hotel that fitted my budget - which was not too small for the German standards. You can imagine how full the city was at the time. I've spent the whole week there and the hotel worked. It is very close to the central... More

We booked the Adler solely for an overnight stay. Three of us made it hard to book any room that had some space, and this was no exception, but we knew that going in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good! Easy access to main train station and the metro with short rides to fun areas... More

We had a quick night and stopover in Frankfurt, and wanted something convienant to seeing a bit of the city, and getting back and forth to the airport.. This place was perfect for that! We arrived late, and called to let them know of our late arrival. Great idea since the reception is closed at midnight, but they conveniently left... More

Be sure you know what you are getting into when you choose to stay here. First the good part. The front desk staff were very nice. Now the bad. The neighborhood is scary. We had people shooting up in front of the hotel and on most of the side streets. I knew going in that we were close to the... More
