This hotel is very easy to find, from this airport you can take a train, and its like 6th stop. Hotel is located close from pretty much everything, shopping and old town (rommer platz) Room was very small, they do need a make-over BAD! Bathroom very tiny, rooms are small, no access to the internet, BUT right across the street... more

Me and my girlfriend spend two nights in this 3 star hotel which is, actually, in the middle of Frankfurt. You can walk five minutes to the main shopping street and to see the sights it´s not more than ten minutes. The neighborhood is quite scary at night, but we didn´t have any problem at all so that was ok... more

We stayed at City Hotel Frankfurt for 2 nights in October 2007. In terms of distance to the different points of interest, the location was excellent. However, the neighborhood was pretty shabby. The "trinkenhalle" nearby was crowded and noisy, and the view from our room was dreadful. Still, we spent much of our time roaming through the city, so it... more

we expected higher hotel standard since it is rated as a 3 stars hotel... but it is actually a 2 stars. It's little and old, and located in a no-so-friendly neighbourhood. The bathroom was too small, we booked a room for 3 people, had to wait a couple of hours before it was ready (way beyond the check-in time) and... more

Me and my girlfriend stayed there a couple of days ago and our stay was very pleasant. The only negative thing was the precarious neighbourhood. There was a ''trinkenhalle'' just around the corner that was very crowded with drunken men around the clock. Another thing was the huge amount of the hocker houses on both streets that led to the... more

I stayed at the hotel 3 nights in July 2005. The room was four-star standard, clean and spacious. Unfortunately this was the only positive feature I found apart from the central location. The service is terrible. Most members of the staff (especially at the reception) are really rough and unpolite. It is rare they say to you even "good morning... more

The hotel itself was great. The rooms were clean and the the breakfast was good. The neighborhood was not very great. There were sex trade workers diplaying themselves in the window just down the street from the hotel and there was a drinking establishment right next to the hotel which was frequented by men well into the night. It was... more

We stayed in City Hotel Frankfurt for one night. Hotel has a parking lot which will fit 3 cars. Fortunately, we checked in early and received a parking spot. For three people, our room was spacious. Bathroom was a little small. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. The local riff-raff congregated across the street from the hotel. We watched... more

I stayed in this small hotel dec 04, because it was supposed to be situated in a quiet sidestreet to the main frankfurt shopping street Zeil, it was not, - not far, but it is across the street of the city brothel, and a lot of caracters you would not like to meet, are gathered at the sidewalks around the... more
