Having read some of the reviews about this hotel I was slightly concerned about the location "red light district" etc but I took a chance. I took my girlfriend the hotel and room was immaculate. We walked back to the hotel at around 1:00am Saturday night/sunday morning and we did not experience any problems what so ever. We arrived for... more

The hotel desk at Frankfurt airport reccomended this hotel to us, and said it was close to the main train station. It is relatively close- but a good 10 minute walk down a shabby and very ethnic neighborhood. The hotel is just around the corner from the red light district. At night there are drug dealers and prostitutes everywhere. The... more

I had a bad stay at this hotel, First there was no soap in the bathroom, there was mold all over the bathroom, parking is bad, and to top it off we asked for a nice restaurant, the clerk was kind enough to look up one on the internet but gave us terrible directions so we spent 40 minutes walking... more

The memphis hotel is definately money for value. THe rooms were small but clean. The complimentary breakfast is good, again value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I stayed for one night and found the environment very relaxed. Wi fi is available at a price but it is definately very quick. the train station is very close... more

Stayed at The Memphis for two nights at the end of Feb. The hotel is very conveniently located not far from the main train station. Within ten minutes walking you can be in the old area of town and close to the main shopping area. The bedroom was fine, decent size double bed, comfortable, spotlessly clean ( albeit carpet a... more

I stayed at this hotel during the Frankfurt Book Fair. Although it was quite pricey during the time, I had no problems with the hotel. The double room was quite a nice size, and a bigger room than I would expect for Europe. The shower was sort of odd with the half shower door, but you get used to it.... more

I just returned from a one-night stay at the Memphis hotel. The hotel was one of the worst value for money hotels in the city. Although centrally located, the hotel is very close to the city's red-light district and is located in a street rich in ethnic shops and restanrants. Rooms are small and not very clean - the garbage... more

The best thing about this hotel is the location, within walking distance of the main rail station and also ideally placed to get into the centre of town. We went there for the Christmas markets and this was a 10 minute walk away. We had read that it was near the red light district but it is in fact a... more
