It is a rather old-fashioned hotel (your grand-mother’s style). You see that 30 years ago it could be called luxury, but now... not anymore! The owners (old couple) are always waiting for you at the reception day and night: you enter – exit and take your breakfast under their scanning eyes. Personally I don't like it :-( The most terrible... More

My colleague and I were staying at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel was near the school we’d be talking at which is why we booked there – We optimized for walking to the school. Upon arrival, the owner of the hotel (also the manager with his wife) checked me in rapidly. I was given a room on the... More

I was lucky to have the bill settled by my academic hosts, and thoroughly enjoyed this compact, conservative, haute decor small pension -- it's not a hotel, it is like a B&B lifted out of Northern Italy. The furnishings are aggressively Italian, beautifully painted tiles, thoughtfully constructed furniture, everything in the room seems one of a kind, just short of... More

The Liebig hotel in the quiet Westend of Frankfurt was a nice discovery. Stayed for 2 nights in a superior room on the backside of the hotel (on the 3rd floor - without elevator, but that is good for the condition). Well decorated room with everything you would expect in this category. I was especially pleased with the quietness in... More

I have stayed here twice during visits to the Goethe University in Frankfurt. The Ronzoni family tends this lovely structure with care and pride, and tends its guests with warmth and attention to comfort. The staff are attentive without being the least bit intrusive, and all the comforts are provided without pretense or stiff formality. Breakfast is provided in classic... More

This hotel was chosen by my company as we had an industry event held at the Messe in Frankfurt. The pluses are the following: Nice, friendly staff clean room Minuses: wi-fi is horrid- forget large files or Skype. impossible to use and NOT free long walk to Messe- 2 km which is OK unless you are on your feet all... A local friend recommended this for us, to stay for 4 nights prior to a professional meeting. We loved it! rooms with 12 foot ceilings, all renovated and decorated in very tasteful Euro/Italian decor--the kind of place I wished my own house looked like. Our first room was, admittedly, very small and the shower especially so--so if you don't like... More

I was in Frankfurt a week ago for a job interview day and this was the first suggestion on my GPS. Due to the fact that it was the holiday season they had available single rooms starting @ 105 Euro. I found it a bit overpriced, but nevertheless decided to give it a go. The hotel is in a nice... More

The Hotel Liebig is a nice, cozy and well located boutique hotel in a residential area of Frankfurt. It is a very pleasant 10-15 walk to Bockenheimer Strasse (Street) which is the greatest place to shop in the city. The hotel is also a 5 minute walk from the local Jewish Community Centre which welcomes all visitors to their daily... More

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. It's a quaint little hotel within walking distance from the train station and the shopping area. The reception was very nice and efficient. The hotel and rooms were a little old, like most European hotels, but very comfortable. I chose the single room with the shared bathroom and shower, since I don't... More
