Clean and bright rooms and excellent staff. Located in the center for easy dinning etc. They also have a bar downstairs for those who can't wait. Lacked some facilities though. If I am ever back in frankfurt I will seriously consider staying here again.

This is the 4th or 5th time I've stayed at the Nizza. It's become more spartan over the years, and lacks many of the amenities one expects these days. There's no kettle, no hair dryer, no bar soap, no extra pillows. Breakfast used to be included, but there's now a charge. The floors are hardwood with no carpets, so you... More

The Nizza is an old-fashioned hotel in the best sense of the word. The historical high ceiling building offers spacious rooms each of which is individually furnished. Breakfast is sufficient, delicious and tailored for vegetarians, too. During summer one can enjoy a tiny atrium and a charming little roof terrace. A combined Billard room and library offers leisure - also... More

This hotel was too minimalist for me, and I stayed only one night rather than the planned several. However, they were extremely gracious and did not seek to charge me for more than the one night, despite my changing plans with no notice (I offered to pay for two nights as a sort of 'cancellation fee', but they declined to... For people who want a less business- oriented Frankfurt, Hotel Nizza was a find, Rooms spacious, old fashioned proportions, breakfast a pleasure, the best prepared we had in Germany.(and some hotels were pricier). Moreover one can walk a few blocks to the bridge over the Main and there are the museoms of Frankfurt, along the water. So we had idyllic... More

Train stations surroundings areas are usual not very pritty....but once you have pushed the hotel main (secured) door, you will get another feeling. Friendly staff, simple but clean rooms, great charming roof terrace to enjoy a chilled beer while checking emails (free internet), wonderful breakfast (with some very typical stuff from Germany), staff remembering your favored breakfast drink....you will truly... I was diverted to Frankfurt on business & thought of Frankfurt as a stopover . I was really suprised at how friendly , relaxed & vibrant the city was . I stayed at the Nizzar hotel . The rooms were large and airy , the staff excellent and the ambience of the hotel was something out of a decadent 1920'... More

I stayed at Hotel Nizza during a week long biz trip to Frankfurt in May 2008. Located minutes from the train, Nizza was an attractive alternative to the conventional hotel. I booked on-line and confirmed by phone. On arrival, I was not dissapointed. My room was large with high ceilings and hardwood floors with windows opening onto Elbestrasse. The rooftop... More

Right by the main train station (2 min. walk) and in the area where you find a lot of the best ethnic restaurants of Frankfurt. The red light district starts a few blocks further up from the water and won't be a problem unless you go looking for it. Lots of artists and freelance professionals/academic types stay here. Great old... More
