We booked online for a double room, and got given a room with three single beds. Of the two staff members, one did not speak a word of english, and the other was never around. On arrival we requested our breakfast for 9am. We received it at 8am on the first two mornings. When the staff member who spoke english... More

We stayed at Pension Bruns while on transit in Frankfurt. The place was clean, although basic. For the price we paid we weren't expecting anything fancy. It was quiet and in a neighbourhood which felt safe. Very convenient, as it was only 1 train station from the main railway station and a few minutes walk. It was nice to stay... More

As others have reported, the location is great with the metro station three minutes walk and the downtown area about fifteen minutes. About ten minutes walk to the north is the famous Palmen Garten which is definitely worth seeing plus there's a couple decent restaurants practically next door. We encountered a couple problems. First, some of the furniture is in... More

We stayed in a very large room for 2 nights in October 2007. I wasn't overly impressed with the accommodation. The room was very big and reasonably clean, the furnishings were very basic and old. There was a basin in the room which was handy, and a toilet and shower down the hall. The breakfast provided in the room, was... More

Very large room, quite old but clean. My room didn't have its own bathroom, but the shared facilities were allright. Breakfast is served in the room, simple but okay. Nice owner. Good and quite neighbourhood, easy to reach from the railway station.

I stayed with my sisters there for 1 night in mid -Sep. It's located in a very quiet street so it took a little longer to look for. When we arrived there, we had a big surprise. The room (twin room) is extremely big and even have a balcony. There is a table and also a sofa. Very comfortable and... More

We, two adults and two kids, stayed at Pension Bruns for three days at end-July 2006. We had one double bed and two single beds in a huge clean room with ensuite bathroom and a small dining area, all for 80 euros per day. Location is quiet and convenient for a few days of exploring Frankfurt. Good value B&B. Breakfast... More

This was a great hotel both in price and value (50 euros a night). The double room was large with a high ceiling, and we were served breakfast in our room. It's necessary to pay for using the shower in the hall (1.50 euros). The women that run the hotel are very nice, and I would stay here again.
