I brought my chorale of 40 to Germany for a performance tour. We started in Frankfurt and ended our time in Frankfurt staying at the Maingau both times. The overall experience was great. Nadine, Hans and the many others were delightful and helped greatly. The breakfast each morning was amazing and very much appreciated by the group. It is not... More

We stayed at the Maingau Hotel for a 1 night stopover, before flying out the next day. We had a double room, i believe on the 5th floor, facing the back of the building, with opening window. The lift was small but functional. The check in process was friendly and helpful, we made our reservation by email directly with the... More

The room was too tiny and extremely hot. To sleep or rest was not possible in these conditions. But the prepared breakfast was excellent and switched the balance back tot neutral. They have renovated parts of the hotel, hopefully Improvements can be expected.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our business trip in Frankfurt. Colleague of mine booked this hotel for everyone. It was the worst hotel room I stayed. It was tiny, smaller than the dom I stayed at university. Single bed, washer in the room, tiny shower and toilet together. you can even move, a small desk thats... More

Overall very happy with this hotel. Friendly staff, clean, quiet rooms. Location was excellent. An easy walk to the museum precinct and over the bridge to the city. Several nearby bars and very nice eateries. Complementary breakfast was simple but adequate. The hotel's wifi was rather expensive which would be my only criticism.

We stayed here for the location as it was just 10 minutes walk from the Frankfurt Christmas Market. A lovely walk too, straight over the bridge. The staff were absolutely lovely, the rooms had all the essentials, great value for money for a simple hotel with good location. Try the cafe at the end of the road. Very nice for... More

This hotel, located 10 minutes' walk from the museum district and a few more from the Old Town, is welcoming, has clean, comfortable rooms and beds, an excellent breakfast, and one of Frankfurt's best restaurants. Parking available nearby at a municipal garage. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent value for money.

Stayed here on business last year during a big exhibition in Frankfurt. The hotel is ideally located near many attractions and places to eat. The premium location of the hotel shows in the size of the rooms.. cosy to say the least! The staff were very friendly and approachable.

Really, the Maingau deserves a C for average. My room was tiny. Breakfast was okay. There is a funkyness about going up some stairs, then across an interior bridge, then down some stairs, to get to an elevator, to go up to my floor, to go up a half-flight of stairs, to go over to the room. Service was okay... More

Stayed two nights with my wife. Staff very friendly and polite. First a very polite receptionist explained us about Frankfurt, what to see, where to go, which tram to take,...Very good buffet breakfast. Rooms are good enough for short stay. The only cons is small elevator. But overall good hotel for the value.
