Nothing bad to say! Everything was good or excellent. Staff very friendly and helpfull and the breakfast is very good. It´s modern, very clean and 1 km walking from the center and 1 minute from the train station. The parking for the car is also very good. The heaters and air conditioned work properly without any nasty noises! Internet wi-fi... More

I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this hotel before - I’ve stayed here a number of times; and not, because it isn’t worth it! The hotel is right on the north-west corner of Frankfurt’s central station (Hauptbahnhof); this makes it extremely well situated for both late arrivals by train as well as exploring the city (which is extremely walkable). I’ve stayed... More

At first sight of the hotel our expectations were not the best. On entering the reception we thought this would be an average place. Well it turned out to be a great hotel. Once up to our room, despite the unusual lift which requires some walking up/down a few stairs to access, we were surprised. The room was modern and... More

We searched for a hotel to switch from the train (arriving one evening) to a long-distance bus leaving at the main station (next day). Therefore, the location of the hotel is nearly ideal (you just have to cross the main station) and you are even close to the city. Walking to the city center is possible in 10/15 minutes, although... For 40 Euro this hotel represents great value for those who only need a place to rest. Friendly staff and rooms are clean and newly renovated. However, if you paid the rack rate of 160 Euro, this hotel is horrible

Stayed at the hotel for two nights with my wife. Just a stone's throw from HBF train station. It didnt look dangerous at night. About 15 min walk to Romer square. There's a whole range of asian and middle east restaurants nearby. The buffet breakfast is really good, only 5 euros. We couldnt get a renovated room, so they gave... More

I was there from 9/4/2013 - 12/4/2013 and it costs for 3 nights 650 € for a single room that should not has more than 15 sqm. I am 1.9 m height and I DIDN'T FIT ON BED, half of my legs were out. The hotel is an old building poorly decorated, trying to have fashion style without achieving it.... More

We've stayed for 2 nights at Cristall Hotel and were very pleased, had a new refurbished room on the second floor, very quiet although near traffic and train station. The receptionist who plays bagpipes as well :) recommended us what to visit and which are the best restaurants in town. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for one night while moving from Germany back to the US. Chose it mainly for its proximity to the Hauptbahnhof (right across the street) and the price (50 Euro for a double room). I wasn't expecting a whole lot for the price, but was pleasantly surprised. The first two floors have newly renovated rooms that are very well... More
