We read several reviews on this property and felt it would meet our needs which it certainly did. It was close to the Main Rail Station, two blocks, served a buffet breakfast at a reasonable rate and the rooms were spotless. The entire property had been upgraded recently and the baths in particular were beautiful. The desk staff was helpfull and... more

I stayed here in early January, 2008 and had a very poor quality stay. The low rates, close proximity to the Hauptbahnhof, and cordial front desk staff were fine, but the absence of soundproofing around the hotel room door made for a sleepless night. Normal hallway sounds (i,e, voices, moving luggage) were amplified in my 6th floor room, and I... more

I have had some bad experiences at hotels, but this was a great one. The reviews from this site are usually terrifying, so the mere existence of a good one made me stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the staff was very nice. Breakfast was included and was pretty good. I paid for 12 hours of non-continuous wifi... more

So everything has been said about this hotel and most of it is true, at least I had similar experiences: - the staff is REALLY strange, maybe because they only pay minimum wages and don't get real staff - the rooms are quite, clean, and spacy enough - the hotel is in the red light district but close to main... more

This is actually now part of the Quality Hotel chain. As previous posters have mentioned, it is right next to the red light district, but I never felt unsafe. It's only two blocks from the train station and that's the main reason I picked this hotel. We had an early flight, and it was a lot more reasonable price to... more

I have stayed at the Kaiserhof several times and have never had a bad experience there. The young lady that works at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. She is a gem and I would recommend the hotel based on dealing with her. One of her male co-workers was a bit grumpy but he worked the night shift... more

2 travellers - one male aged 27 and one female aged 28. We were in Frankfurt for 2 weeks. Location - The Hotel is located in a semi-red light district with sex shops however do not let this deter you. The people do not harass you in anyway, they are typical cruisers. It is well patroled by police at night... more

A stone's throw away from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, this hotel is an ideal location for a first night's stay in the area or even as a base for the entire duration. We needed a convenient hotel before a music tour of the Hesse region that was reasonable, centrally located, clean and friendly; it didn't disappoint. The staff were really helpful, particularly... more

My cousin and I both went to Frankfurt for 2 weeks and loved it. We went to experience the culture, the people, the food and the lifestyle of Europeans and that is exactly what we got. The city offers many different places to visit, to dine, to relax and perhaps some areas to avoid if your not as open minded... more
