Rooms are OK - clean & roomy but smelly (cigarette smoke from surrounding guests). There are no eateries for breakfast/dinner nearby but there is a tram & train close by. Staff were unhelpful & clueless. Internet speed was poor & you are granted one login per room so only one of you can be on the internet at the one... More

I spend my vacations in various Germany cities: Berlin, Bremen, Hamburg, etc., every year. So, this time my choice was Frankfurt. Golden Leaf offers very reasonable price, place is not so far from the city center, and there is a kitchenette. This circumstance was pretty important because I stayed there during Christmas time, when almost all shops and cafe's in... More

The rooms were large and clean but that was the only positives. The location is poor being in an area that has nothing to offer. The staff were horrendously rude abd unwelcoming. I felt very uncomfortable. The wifi you had to pay for and disconnected often and was poor quality. The beds were not very comfortable the pillows were awful... More

Stayed 2 nights on a business trip and would not recommend this for the tired traveller. The hotel is tired, receptionist were very helpful. The rooms a good size TV with 70+ channels mostly German. Internet access extra €12 per night, but poor speed. Breakfast was fair, little to choose from and the restaurant offering poor. Horrible pillows and duvet... More

the rooms are large, clean and comfortable but i expected more from a large hotel chain, i was on the ground floor and found it very noisey with people walking past the window, the staff where helpfull and the trains are just a few minutes walk away, there was a small kitchen in the room which i did'nt use and... The hotel is near metro station in a lateral street. The rooms are quite big with kitchen, frigo, etc. The ambient is quite old-fashioned. Internet connection by wifi is not so good, slow and continously disconnected. The breakfast is good and rich. Good quality/price ratio, but nothing special. Suggested for short stay.

I was looking for a hotel in Frankfurt, but not necessarily in the centre, for the marathon weekend. The Golden Leaf fitted the bill perfectly. It was well located - out of the centre of town but easily accessible by tram and well-priced. The room was spotless, with a good sized TV, and confortable bed (although only with one pillow).... I stayed recently at the Golden Leaf for 3 nights- I came here to run the Frankfurt marathon so it was a personal trip and I relied on feedback from others on Tripadvisor while booking this. The hotel is very accessible by tram and underground and not far from the city centre. They have clean rooms (right sized) and a... More

We stopped over in Frankfurt to break up a long inter-continental flight itinerary and found the Golden Leaf to be a nice clean place to stay. When my teen-aged son saw the three single beds in their room he sighed a big "Thanks Dad" and promptly fell asleep for 16 hours! My wife and I had an enjoyable afternoon couple... More

It's a bit far from downtown. And you have to pay 3~9euros for the WiFi. But it's free in the lobby. Free apples and a big supermarket nearby. But our room wasn't air-conditioned.
