In the last five years I have stayed at the Steigenberger Frankfurt Airport Hotel six times. The rooms are very clean and in good condition. The service and food is good. The hotel location is perfect for the airport and they offer a frequent shuttle service. Rooms are ok, but not great and some areas in the hotel just smelled bad. Bathrooms small, clean and adequate. Two great restaurants with wonderful food at the hotel more

Travel agent made reservation 7 days ahead, business itinerary changed, canceled 2 days ahead, and they charged me for the room. Claim 30day cancellation policy, but was never informed. They are fighting me now on the refund. How can any hotel cater to business clientele and require a 30day notice? Unbelievable. I will never consider them in the future. more
