Recently stayed for 1 night at this hotel. Had emailed ahead asking for twin beds and received confirmation from the hotel that this request could be honored. However when we arrived there was no notation on our reservation - nor were there any twin bed rooms available. Hotel advertised free wi-fi. We got the access codes and tried to connect... More

Excellent location in the middle of old historic Sachsenhausen, that includes lots of restaurants, shops and plenty of night life. It is also only a short walk across the river to the Frankfurt Christmas market and other places of interest to tourists. Location is also close to train station and bus lines (no. 61 runs directly to/from airport for only... More

Basic accomodations, clean. Good location, easy walk over bridge to Romer. Located easy walk from south main train station. Located close to nightlife, bars, apel wein restaurants. Staff is very friendly, speak English well, and do their best to make sure you have everything you need. They run a special for 3 nights... Fri, Sat, Sun, that is a great deal.... More

The hotel is in a good, quite location, probally a 3 star and the room was clean with a good mattress. We found the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. They were willing to assist you in any way, e.g tourist info, to making you a cup of tea. Breakfast is basic but good. Transport... More

The hotel is basic, but the prices reflect that. The staff can't do enough for you. I wanted to buy a Car in Frankfurt to export to Spain and the receptionist offered to come with me as a translator. Everytime you walk past them they greet you with goodmorning/afternoon etc. Breakfast is good. I will be back on my next... More

I spent a night at the Royal Hotel and the stay was anything but "royal". Check-in: At check in the manager / owner at the front desk was more concerned about yelling at a car driver parking in front of his hotel (in a legal parking zone) than proceeding with the check-in procedure. He was extremely rude and kept complaining... More

We just New Year's Eve at Royal Hotel. It was my second stay (first was a business trip in Sep 09). There is simply no better location in Frankfurt. I 'reconed' this hotel back in Aug when I knew I'd be going to Frankfurt (I live 1.5 hours away). The hotel in literally 150 meters from Sachsenhausen's bars and restaurants.... More
