Stayed here from 17-20 July. Hotel is incredibly well located, right next to the main train station. Free afternoon tea/coffee and cake is served in the lobby for most of the day and there is a free minibar (yes, with beer!) in each room is an excellent bonus. Breakfast was nice and the waiting staff were very attentive. Tea and... More

We stayed here overnight to break our journey from England to northern Germany. What a delightful hotel. For the money we paid, I cannot fault our visit. On check in we were met by a lovely receptionist who was both friendly and helpful, and directed us to a nearby supermarket (even drawing a map for us) I wish I had... More

My mother and I stayed here for a week in July 2014 and we both agree it was the best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip throughout the UK, France and Germany. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and very clean (ours had a new bathroom), the breakfasts were amazing and there are... More

To be fair to this hotel it's location next to Frankfurt's central train station is its main selling point. Like many business travellers in Europe I prefer to stay in hotels that give easy access to other cities via train, or with quick connections to the airport. So Monopol ticks all the boxes there. But Monopol is a hotel caught... More

This hotel is fairly basic, relatively comfortable, but, could benefit enormously from a renovation. It is a classic hotel situated right across from Frankfurt's main train station (Hauptbahnhof). The staff are extremely helpful and the service is great. The room was small, but, very clean. Unfortunately, it was also noisy - lots of noise in the corridors, and when you... More

This hotel is located across the street from the side entrance to Frankfurt's main train station. It provides the basics: clean room, nice WC and shower, free toiletries, abundant breakfast buffet, and a free minibar. All for a good price, about 60€. Its location gives you many frequent options for the subway or S-Bahn to the airport, so you can... More

We stay here for 3 nites and what we got is more than we expect. Rooms are good and the best thing is the free mini bar. My friend enjoys it very much. Wifi speed and location are excellent. If we go to Frankfurt again, we would definitely stay here again..

By far the drabbest and most depressing-looking four star hotel I have been to, but not all was bad. The room was rather large for a single and relatively quiet (apart from the construction work going on, but I would guess that it just temporary). I appreciated the free minibar. The internet was excellent 90% of the time. The breakfast... More

Booked one night on stop off to Prague. Place is rather drab and gloomy. But only staying one night, so will make do. Get to room, which is far too warm. No air conditioning. Never mind, will open windows. No breeze from there. And with 2, yes 2 fridges in the room, there is heat coming from them, making the... More

We stayed one night before flying out of Frankfurt the next day. The location was excellent, right across the street from the train station. It was about a 20 minute walk to the historic area, Goethe's House, and the Main Tower (observation deck). The hotel was gorgeous on the inside, staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast included in price.
