On our visit the signage had not been put fully in place so drivers need to be vigilant in order to spot the entrance. This was a nice modern airy hotel. It's a modernist hotel so at first sight might not seem the obvious candidate for a visit to the Jugendstil/Art Nouveau area of Darmstadt, the former artists' colony known as the Mathildenhoehe. But actually it's perfect. Stylish, comfortable, perfectly sited. Most of all, I think this was the best service of any hotel I've stayed in. I was quite demanding...
