We had a room on the first floor and the sign was right in front of our window. The curtains DID NOT cover the whole window. It was allowing the light to pass through because it was not heavy curtains. The mattress needs to be replaced, you can feel the springs underneath. The wifi cuts in and out. It was... More

Stayed here for one night with a friend. Great value, excellent location, very clean. Service was efficient and WiFi is free. Location right on the Reeperbahn means lots of nighttime revellers, so it can be a bit noisy at times. Having said that, I'm a light sleeper and did have a good night. Would very happily stay here again and... More

Stayed here in a single room for two nights whilst visiting Hamburg. Cheap, cheerful and clean. Lovely friendly staff, great location (at the top end of Reeperbahn, obviously the red light district but as a single mid thirties female I had no problems). I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

This hotel was super easy to find once we got off the train at Repperban or St Pauli it wasn't to far to walk we got the train direct from the airport it took about 30mins. When we arrived at our hotel the man at the desk was very nice and very helpful and said that someone would be here... More

From the beginning things looked not very good. Just beside the entrance there were people permanently sleeping in the street, begging etc. We were in the third floor without elevator. The room was small but quite clean at least. The reception staff was indifferent. The wifi was not working for the one day we stayed there but even if it... More

Stayed here in may 2012 with colleagues and regretted every minute of it !! It is without doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in !! The rooms are extremely small and below basic ! The room I stayed in was filthy with dust and human hair on most surfaces. The radiator had literally months of dust and grime... More

The only good thing about this hotel was that it was clean. You know what to expect booking on the Reeper Bahn, so you would think there might be a outside noise, but not from inside. The guests in the rooms around where noisy and drunk, and though effort was made to silence them, the effort was poor! Though the... More

A friend and I stayed at Hotel Cafe Keese for a long weekend in April. The hotel staff were very friendly, and were very helpful, letting us check in early and check out much later than the designated time as we had a late flight out of Hamburg. The rooms were basic but ultra clean and had a very nice... More
