My husband, brother and I visited Hamburg for the first time this past summer and we were delightfully surprised by our stay at Hotel Budapester Hof. Don't be fooled by the rough graffitied exterior. The inside of the hotel is not incredibly upscale, but it's well-kept and cozy. The service is excellent - the staff happily answered all of our... More

The room quality is reflected in the price, but it was clean and otherwise average. Great shower. Location is pretty good, just ten minutes away from some really nice St. Pauli streets and the football stadium.

The staff were more than helpful through the entire stay, from booking in to leaving. The room was clean, spacious and very tidy. The bathroom was immaculate (nice walk-in power shower). Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. Get there early though 9am is full and no one wants to leave. The Hotel was walking distant from two station (U3... More

The hotel as a facility can get some major improvements. We didn't even had a mirror in the room, the view from the room was not a very pleasant one and the wifi was practically useless - I had to find an Internet café. But, I could consider visiting this hotel again because: - the price per night is very... More

The Hotel was cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for, we went on a weekend away just a few of us and was ideal! staff very friendly and rooms and bathroom clean. Bars and restaurants in surrounding area and only a 10 minute walk from the river. Worth visiting as long as you're not a perfectionist!

Fantastic hotel, pleasant and helpful staff. The outside of the hotel didn't look too promising as with all of this area it is covered in graffiti but inside it was a different story, clean and tidy and the rooms were very comfortable. If you arrive by car ask the reception for a parking permit which allows you to park in... More

9 of us stayed here for my friends hen do and it was perfect! The rooms were clean and spacious. We had plenty of bedding and towels. We had booked 2 quad rooms but we were given 2 amazing rooms that were huge! We even got the pent house! This was ideal for our group. The staff on reception were... More

I've just returned from a 3 night stay here as part of a stag party which I had to arrange. It was exactly what we wanted & all in the party complemented my choice. This is a no frills hotel. I expected it to be full of UK stag party's but we were the only ones - it was mainly... More

I was really only in the hotel for a short time as I was in Hamburg for the Slipknot concert at the O2 world arena. When I first arrived at the hotel I thought Oh my God! The building was covered in graffiti and it was very off putting to be honest! However I decided to give it a closer... More

Dear guest, Thank you for taking a moment to review our hotel. We appreciate any kind of feedback to improve our hotel continuously. We know that we have to find a solution for the front of our building and hope we can renovate our façade already this year. We are sorry to read that the bed was too small for... More

We have read the reviews on tripadvisor before making our reservation so we have an idea on what to expect. True enough, the exterior of the hotel has grafitti on the walls. However, once inside, it's a different story. The reception was cosy and there was a lounge area for hotel guests to sit and use the wifi. Wifi is... More
