After an extensive review we decided to book East because it seemed like the closest decent hotel to the Reeperbahn, and because it said it had a 24 hour bar. Fabulous style and design. Bar was excellent. Book in advance if you want to eat in the restaurant on a Saturday night (we couldn't get a table as booked too late). Excellent location for nightlife and The DOM fair (if its in town). Just a couple of minutes walk from underground. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy a lively weekend. more

The rooms look great, however I experienced an unpleasant stay in this hotel and would certainly not return - for me its a great example of form over function. I stayed for a long weekend at the East Hotel in Hamburg. I had a ground floor medium size room in the Annex to the main building which is connected by a covered courtyard. It is modern, funky, unusual and the rooms are a good size, the shower offers a "rain" option which is nice and they feature Acqua Di Gio Giorgio Armani bathroom products...devine.
