The outside and the corridors are very nice, the hotel has plenty of parking which is great. The room suited me fine for one night, but its very small, and not good for longer stays. The bathroom is very tight and the toilet is to narrow to sit on properly and they could have made the bathrooms bigger, as the... More

Stayed in this nice little hotel for 2 nights during a conference. Situated in a smaller street it is quite calm. Can easily be reached by public transport. Rooms are not so large but the high ceiling in this old building makes it bigger... Modern furniture, free internet, firm mattress and a number of usefull and stylish facilities gives the... More

I would have given the hotel an excellent rating. It is between average and very good. Just good. Plus sides: I loved the modern, stylish furnished rooms with high ceilings, in a beautifully renovated old townshouse, quiet area. Rooms are clean, but shower was crap - unable to have a shower without getting your hair wet. But I slept very... More

I stayed at the Yoho for 3 nights in July 2013. Even though the weather was quite warm, my north-facing room stayed a nice temperature, even without AC. I really like the design of the hotel, it has a beautiful old facade and is very modern and functional inside. I had a single room which I found had ample space... More

We stayed in YoHo for 1 night in a double room and liked the atmosphere of the old building reconstructed and decorated in modern design. The name of the hotel is quite confusing though. YoHo first got us the impression of a Youth Hostel which is totally not true. It is a stylish functional hotel. If you are under 26,... More

Stayed here for a weekend and thought it was great value! - Cool contemporary design throughout and the staff were really friendly. The only downside was the breakfast - i thought it was expensive for what it was but that's probably got more to do with my English tastes and too much beer the night before. Would definitely recommend

Two nights in this Eimsbüttel located hotel. It was a good value for money: the name sounds like a youth hostel, but it is more: simple but well designed hotel in an old building with flair. Close to all public transports but on a quiet side street. I did not take breakfast but dined in the libanese restaurant that is... More

Nice design in a reasonably quiet off centre street. Rooms and bathrooms rather small. Main gripe was not being able to get a cup of tea at 10.40 in the morning. Having been up late unavoidably and slept late we missed breakfst which finished at 10.30. Unable to provide something sim[ple like tea really poor.

I saw the hotel being advertised in an hamburg guide for special places...and it was an enormous disappointment. Nice yes...just the design of the first view...staircaises and elavator.....the rooms small...standards...no charm at all and with not a single personel detail...it was like a cheap youth hostel...but not being cheap.....just facade design without any original or personal detail to make me... The YoHo (Youth Hotel) in the Elmsbuettel district of Hamburg is conveniently located next to 2 U-Bahn stations and close to the S-Bahn, meaning easy access to the city in less than 5 minutes, 20 mins walking. The rooms themselves are modern, clean, although slightly on the small side. The private bathroom is however, excellent. Free internet access is also... More
