We spent 4 nights in Hotel Hafen for a sports event. The staff is very friendly and professional. I had a double room with a friend which was perfectly clean but pretty small for the price. Situation is great: 5mins walk from Reeperbahn and right next to the Landungsbrücken. The breakfast is optional and costs 20€ per person / day... More

This hotel is great if you have a short stay in Hamburg. It's a little bit further out of the city centre than some others, but it's about a 30 minute walk into the city centre or a very short metro ride. The metro station is very close with links to the airport and many different lines to different parts... More

The Hotel is located between Landungsbrücken and Reeperbahn in St. Pauli on the hill. The BSH (Bundesamt für Seeschifffahrt und Hydrographie) is close at the hotel. The rooms are big. There is a nice beer pub(€€€) in the hotel and a cocktail bar.

This is a great hotel to use as a start for exploring Hamburg. it is very near the Landungsbrucken S-Bahn stop, so you can get anywhere easily. Very close to the Reeperbahn if you're interested in Beatles history. Nice Biergarten on the Elbe, too. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was very reasonable and had a... Great view of the water if you can get such a room. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet and restaurant for dinner. Across the street from an underground train station. Great area to walk around. Staff were very helpful - even suggested a great breakfast place when we didn't want to eat in their restaurant.

The Hotel is very well positioned in particular if you want to see the Lion King, We stayed in the new part of the hotel in a "Captains Class " room. The room was very nice and quite large and very clean. Unfortunately it was really warm in the room and with no air conditioning the only way to get... More

The Hafen Hotel Hamburg is one of the best hotels in the Germany. I stayed here for 10 days with my family in May and have good memories of the place. My room i had fabulous view of the harbor. It was breathtaking to enjoy a drink at the top of the hotel building. Very close to major land mark... More

We stayed here first time together with friends. The Hotel is very nicely located, Close to the Portuguese quarter with loads of nice Restaurants. The rooms are big, nice bathrooms, good beds. As far as I remember, the front-rooms with view to the Harbour are more expensive (but worthwhile to catch one of them !!). Parking in the area was... More

We booked the hotel for a one-night getaway. The hotel has an modern and a "traditional" part. We got a room in the modern part, although I had booked for the traditional building; but we were upgraded to a harbor view room. Prices were reasonable, but there are a lot of extras, including the parking and breakfast, which are a... More

My girlfriend and I just spend two days in Hamburg. Temperatures outside were around 28 degree celsius - and inside in our room it was at least 30 untill about 2-3 o'clock in the night. There were no aircon, so the only ways to cool the room was to open the window - but outside the u-bahn and heavy trafic... More
