The location could not be better, close to main train station, shopping district and Alster. Rooms are not large but modern and clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. Price is reasonable. free WIFI. Would definitely stay here again.

The Batcelo is a superb hotel, modern, clean and great value for money. I was here on business and the place makes for a great base. Great location! Hotel was superb! Room was very clean, bed was large and comfortable. Read reviews about expensive breakfast and found several bakeries offering a fresh breakfast with coffee within minutes of the hotel. Several choices of activities and restaurants within easy walking distant.

The Hotel is perfect for a shopping weekend, close to the Europa-passage, pedestrian-stret and Jungfernstieg and the main railwaystation. Very nice rooms (with special shower-arrangement), nice service and a super breakfast (very expensive though) I will be back for sure

Stayed here three nights. The room was great and clean and the location of the hotel is PERFECT for enjoying town center. Missed a few more English speaking TV-channels but this alone is not crucial for our satisfaction. When checking out they tried to charge a gin/tonic from the minibar wich we hadn't used. Very modern hotel, huge rooms, very quiet, heavenly bedding, excellent breakfast and great location for tourists as well as business travellers. All in all we really enjoyed our 4 day stay, and all that at a reasonable price! We particularly enjoyed the possibility to get late check out at an hourly fee, how clever!
