Stayed with my daughter in this hotel in February this year. Although near Altona Bahnhof, we did not experience noise disturbance (perhaps triple glazing?). Our room was small but perfectly formed - fantastic use of space. The room was modern and extremely comfortable. Breakfasts were delightful.

Very small room which doesnt really feels clean. Old interior , carpet and and old bath. We didnt try the breakfast since it didnt really seems to be worth the 11 euro they charged for it. on the + side it was free internet

I stayed at the Best Western Raphael Altona during July 2008. It's about a 200 yard walk from Altona train station, and thus easily accessible when arriving and moving around the city via the S-Bahn. This hotel is a standard hotel. It is located in front of ALTONA train station. This means that if your room is in front of it, you heard trains on the morning. Moreover, the road is very noisy. If you have choise, the other side of this hotel is much more quite. Concerning breakfast, it is correct.
