This hotel is now our new favorite in Hamburg. Granted, it is a short drive from downtown, but worth it for the tranquil setting, elegant environment, and luxurious accommodations for a reasonable price. The buffet breakfast is most appropriate for those on business travel, but the splurge for one day was well worth the price. more

I have stayed at the Louis C Jacob hotel on many occasions since 2002, and cannot recommend it too highly. Have stayed here now over 20 nights and the welcoming and relaxing athmosphere still surprises. The Jacob hotel is undoubtly one of the best in Germany with great rooms, excellent cuisine, friendly athmosphere in the bar and the best breakfast in the world!
