Stayed here with family on a trip to visit the Christmas Markets. Couldn't have made a better choice! Excellent place, warm friendly welcome. Staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were a good size, clean, comfortable and furnished adequately. Felt safe both in our room and in the hotel common spaces. The location of the hotel also appeared to be in... More

Arrived here without pre booking. Stay was pleasant enough but did not get a lot of info on places to visit. The Reeperbahn was the only real suggestion and have probably got the wrong impression about Hamburg in general because of this. Only stayed for one night and half the next day but would try to get somewhere more central in... More

Stayed here with a stag group and found it very good value for money. Clean rooms and handy for transport to Hamburg city centre. A bit far away from the centre but that was reflected in the price. Continental breakfast was a bit basic but par for the course in Germany. Staff were very helpful. A little bit out of... More

Friendly staff, clean and quiet room, toiletries in room in case you forgot your own. Only downsides were that the curtains didn't cover the whole window so the customers in Lidl next door maybe got more than they bargained for. Other let down was the flat square pillows - although this seems to be a recurring theme in other hotels... More

It is a hostel and a hotel. The 4 people room with a privat bathroom is rather small, but it is affordable for a short stay in Hamburg. This probably the cheapest deal you can get for a clean room three Ubahn stops from city center

I came here due to me making a muddle over my booking! I originally intended to stay at AO Hauptbahnhof (see separate review) but then found I was actually booked here. I prefer this one as it has a larger and more comfortable lounge area with a free wifi hotspot. Although AO Hbf does have a wifi hotspot near reception... More

We booked a family room for a three night stay in July 2013. The room was pretty small for the four of us (double and a twin bunk) but clean and quiet, partly because it was downstairs under the reception, so a long way from the nearby road and late night partying upstairs. Staff friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast buffet.... More

I was there for spending weekend in Hamburg with a group of friends since it is famous for the unique night life. Hotel was splendid. Very clean, room and amenities were perfect, staffs are professional. Had a nice sleep after spending the whole night out. Highly recommended :) You have to walk 15-20 minutes to the city center or main... More

The hotel/hostel exceeded our expectations. It was clean, friendly and warm (very welcome when it was snowing heavily outside). The rooms are very basic but spotlessly clean with very comfortable bed, pillows and duvet. The toilet and shower facilities again clean and functional - good water pressure and nice hot water to warm up quickly when coming in from the... More

The location wasn't brilliant but for the price was a tolerable walk from the U-Bahn. If heavy cases, I'd suggest a taxi to the door. The Staff were lovely, some more so than others but overall was a pleasure walking past reception. All rooms were facing a busy dual carriageway so had the attendant ongoing noise, the windows had very... More
