I have just had my 22nd stay at this hotel, I think that says it all. Everyone at the hotel are the most friendly I have come across, the quality of the hotel is second to none, the quality and standard of the restaurant is fantastic, and the plans for future developments also sound fantastic.

This hotel is centrally located. Walking distance to the hafen and the attractions. The walk to the train station is about 1.1 kilometers. The hotel is clean. The interior is black and red/burgundy. The staff are very friendly. There are no face cloths in the rooms. There are dispensers for shampoo and body soap in the shower area. Also a... More

Extraordinary polite and helpful staff.Goes for all at the hotel. Good room and good breakfast. The restaurant is clean, invitational and food with value for the money. One of the few left where they remember your name and room number. All bright and shine greeting you a smiley good morning. Unless you want to pay a steep price for another... More

It was my first time in Germany and I was travelling on a business trip. The recommended hotel by colleagues in Bremerhaven is Hotel Haverkamp. And it was a very nice choice. I would think the price is reasonable and it's inclusive of breakfast. It's not a big hotel but it has all the necessities - it even has sauna... More

Nice hotel close to town centre & attractions. Small pool & sauna room and on site parking. No tea making facillities or English speaking TV. Suprised at "Smoking" bar which will obviously suit some but not me!

This is a simple old 3 star hotel that's had a "design makeover" that isn't particularly well-executed, and it shows. The photos suggest something a lot better than it actually is. Breakfast is normal (nothing at all special), as is service. The location is out of the way in a residential street. They've tried hard and not succeeded.

Dear Peter, thank you very much for your review of our hotel. We are always grateful for constructive criticism. Nevertheless we were a bit suprised about your desription of the “Haverkamp“ as we are in fact a four star hotel which is located right in the centre of Bremerhaven. Just around the corner there is the pedestrian precinct with shops,... More

first thing I'd like to do in this review is thank the Alice at reception: she really went the extra mile when it comes to customer service! The hotel is simple, a bit old school. Rooms probably need some 21st century touch, but no biggy really. The SPA is really good, they really did a good job down there! Breakfast:... More

Great location! Shops and restaurants just around the corner. Turn right out of hotel and right again and you will see them. (Or left and left ;-) Nice indoor pool area. Nice restaurant, but a bit on the pricey side. (€14.00 + per main) Breakfast was pretty good. Pillows were great! Didn't seem to be any air con but left... More
