On the square by the main station, easy walk to town centre. Staff were helpful, room was basic but clean and had good sound insulation. We both found the matress uncomfortable, too hard, that may be personal preference. Did not use the restaurant/breakfast since there is a huge choice nearby in both main station and shopping area. This made a... more

Awesome location 2 minute walk from central station. Very helpful staff, large room with large bathroom. Clean, extra pillows, free internet downstairs, or chargeable wifi in rooms, no safe. 15 minute walk in safe area to the old town, restaurants and bars around the hotel. Definitely recommend, especially for train travellers. more

My Mum and I took a girly Christmas trip to the markets and stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We had a great time. The room was spacious and very warm which was great as it was cold outside! The food for breakfast was fresh and wholesome. Really set us up for the day. Walking distance to the centre... more

I advice this hotel for every kind of travellers: it's just in front of the railway station, in the center town. It's possible to reach the historical monuments walking five minutes. Nearby is safe and, in spite the location, within the hotel does not arrive any noise. The hotel is very smart and my room was really huge (about 60mq.)... more

On my way to Berlin, coming from Amsterdam, I decided to stay one night in Bremen and choosed the Mercure Columbus, nemely according to some of the reviews in Tripadvisor, assuming that I did not want to spend too much money in a one night stand. The hotel is just in front of the Bremen main train station, that meaning... more

We stayed in a double room for 2 nights from Sunday 7 to Tuesday 9 December 2008 while visiting the Christmas market. We found the journey to the hotel on public transport tram system was very quick. We took tram number 6 from the airport direct to Hauptbahnhof (main railway station) in about 15 minutes. The hotel is located directly... more

This Hotel was great. It was central, (opposite the railway station,) clean, the room was massive and the breakfast was gorgeous with lots of things to choose from. I think the hotel was recently refurbished, it was very comfortable and clean> The reception staff were also very friendly and were happy to help with all our quieries. more
