I've stayed at Toms Hotel 3 times before. It just couldn't get simpler than this... On Motzstraße at Nollendorf Platz and there's always something to do or somewhere to go from bars...to Romeo and Romeo over the road, to shopping at Gear, and a minutes walk from the Ubahnhoff! If in berlin for a short or even longer stay... choose... More

We had a great stay at Tom's hotel! Location is great, room good size with a fantastic, large, modern, powerful shower. The room was cleaned day; the bed comfortable is very quiet (the room was way from the street). Wifi was good. We will definitely return to Tom's on our next visit yo Berlin.

Good value, great accommodation, nice leafy location. Clean and very friendly helpful staff. Kitchen could be a little more equipped than it is (no can opener). Have stayed at both the hotel and apartments and found both to be great.

I stayed at Tom's for Folsom Europe and it was a great experience. The room was bright and airy, very clean, and had a small balcony. It is very close the restaurants and bars and nightlife in the neighborhood so was quite convenient that way. Also close to the subway which made getting around town for sightseeing easy. The staff... More

I was travelling with a friend and we have booked a standard double room. Room was spacious with many windows, a very comfortable bed, a nice sofa and a good sized bathroom. Wi-Fi service was excellent and everything was well clean. Good experience at an affordable price. The hotel is totally gay oriented but this is not a problem for... More

I stayed there for one night. The room was very clean, modern interior design and a very nice, spacious bathroom with a wonderful shower. It's right in the gay neighborhood. It was also quite on a Saturday night. I didn't try the breakfast neither do I know if they have one. I was more than pleased staying there.

My partner and I decided to stay at Tom's over the Folsom weekend. We knew there would be a slight price hike but after paying £169 a night we were expecting a great hotel. We were certainly disappointed when we discovered this wasn't the case. After checking in we were greeted by the smell of stale cigarettes in the accommodation... More

Booked and paid 4 months before, arrived and told our apartment was given to someone else! And we we're put in apartment building around the corner that was a building sight! Broken bottles that that owner of Tom's walked over and left.. Filthy bathroom /shower... Builders working outside the window!!!! Never would recommend Tom's hotel to anyone , so shocked... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
