We stayed there last year and enjoyed our visit a lot. I remember recommending people to stay downstairs, but this year's stay changed my mind. The weather was not hot at all, but it was too humid, and we had to sleep with the windows open. Normally the insulation helps and once you close the windows, you hear almost nothing.There... More

Travelled to Berlin from Amsterdam and stayed in the U inn Berlin hostel. The location is good, close to Frankfurter Allee S bahn which has connections to all over Berlin. The hostel was small and quiet but had a good atmosphere, I made a lot of friends in my dorm and the kitchen was great to cook in. The reception... More

This place was really nice, the kitchen was well equipped and the room for 8 of us was quite spacious. The location was quiet and peaceful, however it was quite far from any attractions in the centre of Berlin, making walking everywhere difficult. The staff were really helpful and provided great advice about how to get to places.

We were a in a private room - for a couple - with share toilet and showers and we were amazed how nice, organised and clean the place was. Breakfast was simple but good. Showers were very clean and worked well ( good water pressure and hot). Toilet also very clean. Room was small but modern, clean and good firm... More

When I was playing for Ireland in the Deutsche MeisterSchaft the Irish Team stayed here. That was 12 people, and we were accommodated wonderfully. When we were booking, we specifically asked for us all to be put into the same room and they organised that wonderfully. 8 of us stayed in one room together, except on the last day when... More

If you are not a solo traveller, but you're with friends or relatives and you're staying in a shared bedroom, email them after you book in this hostel to try to be sure all you can stay in the same bedroom. Otherwise, inexplicably, they will locate you in different ones...

+ Great vibe especially for solo travellers + Decent location + beautiful rooms (like the nicest dorm I've ever stayed in) and kitchen + friendly staff + big lockers - only two showers for each gender - they don't seem to have rules about people like, living there. There was a strange person in our room who kept yelling at... More

Really cosy and clean hostel. Friendly staff and good in price. The hostel has a nice kitchen and free wlan. I will definately come back, when I come in Berlin. And the best clubs and bars are really around the corner. Thanks!

This friendly hostel with laid back atmosphere is my favourite in Berlin so far! ... There is free wifi, cheap breakfast with good coffee and everything is clean. The location is also great. It's in a quiet street, but only 200 meters to Frankfurter Alle where you find everything from subway/sbahn to all kinds of stores/supermarket/mall and restaurants. Much nicer... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
