Every Time I go to Berlin, I will look for this hotel first. The location is incredible, easy access to train station also from Tegel Airport, lot of shopping center just a step away. With the affordable price you would get quite little room but enough for sleep and activities. Internet for free in your room and also some fruit,... More

A great hotel in the heart of Berlin (close to Kurfürstendamm) - it's not the most beautiful or cozy place, but it's clean, the staff is really nice and the location is very good. It might be more of a hostel actually, as the bathrooms are usually shared on the floor. But if you pay just a little bit extra... More

We paid about €200 for 3 nights including breakfast. I consider that a great deal. We stayed on the top floor and the room was basic but comfortable. Had a great view and the building was old and interesting. But it's definitely a budget hotel. The wifi didn't work well or else not at all and we had to share... More

A basic but excellent hotel. The staff is superb, helpful, and efficient. Good location, but some of the rooms might be a bit noisy. If it is unseasonably hot, beware, as there is no Air Conditioning, but they are very helpful and might lend you the fan. Breakfast adequate. Constant supply of tea and coffee in lobby which also has... More

We stayed in this hotel for several nights during my vacation. It is ideal for budget tourism. Location makes it an absolute bestseller. The property is located within 10 minutes walk from bus/metro/train station Zoological Garten. You can go there directly, without changes, from Tegel airport (by bus), central train station (by S-bahn) and central bus station (by metro or... More

I stay here for one night, but I would definitely return here, I had a great stay. On an excellent location (one block from metro station), big bedrooms, very clean bathrooms and incredibly attentive personnel.

Let's just cut to it. Cost: £32 and change. Location: Near Zoo Berlin, Kaiser Wihelm Memorial Church, and KaDeWe. Directly below the hotel is Restaurant Maredo, with various other restaurants right across the street. Rooms: Real Big. We had a room setup for four people just for the two of us. Old-school, small TV. WiFI: Good signal though can be... More

One of the best located hotels on a budget. Just a step away from almost any key landmark on Kurfurstendamm. Bus Stops, Train Stations, Subways, eateries, malls, shops, relaxing zones, et al. And amazingly affordable. Rooms are of very good size. The Sitting area near the front office is superb… enough tables, chairs and sofas to sit around, have a cup... More

nicely sized room, clean. Window to a court, quite noisy in the evenings (talking, moving of restaurant-storage, bottles etc.) and in the morning when new bottles were delivered. In the bathroom was one door of the shower missing, one flooded the room when showering situated directly at the Kurfürstendamm, perfect for sightseeing

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
