Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable mattress and good pillows. Enough storage. Had room at the back which was very quiet. We were always late arriving at breakfast, usually getting there 10.15 when service finished st 10.30 and some days replenishment of the buffet was a bit hit and miss and brakfast staff a little bit off hand. Very good location... More

Very nice simple hotel, smiling personnel, 24h reception. Clean, confortable room. Super breakfast with fresh fruit, warm dishes, cheese, ham vegetables, yogourt and more. We were updated to a superior room. Free wifi, close to many pubs, restaurants, shops. Two minutes' walk to underground station. No safe in The room.

Excellent hotel with very kind staff. The location at 50 meters from the U-Bahn (line 5 SamaritenStrasse) in the Friedrichshain neighborhood is just great. With a 10 minute U-bahn journey one is at the heart of the city - Alexanderplatz. The breakfast was also very good and varied offering something for every taste. The room was very clean, quiet and... Hotel is located in the eastern part of the city in a nice neighborhood on a quiet street with little traffic. The hotel has no elevator but we were located on the first floor so it was not a problem. Metro and S bahn station are near the hotel and a tour around the city is easy. The staff is... More

"+" Close to metro station (U5 Samariterstraße). Round the corner there are some shops, cafés and pastry shops to enjoy your breakfast. There is also a wonderful market on Boxhagener Platz. Hotel staff is hospitable. Cleaning is well-done. Comfortable bed and perfect silence to have a good night's rest. "-" There is not any safe in the room. Sanitary engineering... More

The hotel was clean and the service is great! The breakfast is good also and there is Wi-Fi in all rooms. We asked for double bed room which was well decorated but pretty small. The location is the reason for not getting the rating of 5. The hotel is located next to the U-bahn station but it is quite far... More

slept there with a friend. The service was nice, breakfast wasn't very rich but satisfing. The room was clean and was made every day. Hot water and warm atmosphere. And another important thing- they have free wifi. For the price we paid we got very good conditions. I recommend.

We stayed for 4 nights when we visited Berlin (returning to where my boyfriend lived for a few months). The hotel staff were great, being able to speak German with them was a bonus! The room was perfect for what we needed and nice and clean. Breakfast was great, good selection for all tastes. The hotel is in Friedrichshain about... More

This pension has to be defined as a proper hotel. Everything was perfect except some receptionists but the room was pretty big and cleaned and very modern. The hotel it's about one hour walking from Alexander Plaz but my advise is to rent a bicycle for only 10€ per day. I highly recommend this hotel to everybody. Thank you very... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
