Excellent location of this hotel for sightseeing is worth a million. Rooms are small but very well organised and they are extremely clean. There is underground car park. Also staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I am using this place when staying in Berlin. Short connection with train from the airports to Potzdamerplatz. The Motel is rather new and is very quiet. The 3 floor with bar, breakfast area is nice and with good athmosphere! You are paying upon arrival and can just leave when departing. You can have good rates here if needed. The... More

Stayed here 8th - 11th April. Just need to echo positive comments about this hotel. The staff were friendly, the location is excellent and the breakfast very good. We had a first floor bedroom overlooking the courtyard. It was peaceful and we were able to keep our window open. The only noise came from the delivery vehicles early in the... More

Clean, close to all sightseeing areas, great breakfast place just across the street and friendly staff. The rooms are small but we were out all the time and came back only to crash...so we didn't mind. Try getting a room close to the courtyard and not up front, as it can get really loud.

Stayed here march 16th - 20th. Very nice hotel in a great location. Nice bathroom with body and hair shampoo supplied by hotel. We had a room at the front, didnt hear the trains, slept well. We always ended our evening with a few drinks from the bar, nice comfy sofas with a chilled out atmosphere. Staff very helpful and cheery.... More

I stayed in Motel One in mid October. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean rooms, excellent location and quite if you need to focus on your work. You can easily organize your stay at Berlin from this spot.

Stayed here on a lads weekend. We have stayed at various Motel One hotels a few times before and each time I am impressed with the value for money and cleanliness. It is fairly basic but if you want a clean room, comfy bed and free wifi look no further! Location wise it is 5 minutes walk to the Alexanderplatz... More

I was there for business trip for week. Very Nice Hotel. Check in was easy. Small Rooms but for myself its fine. I prefer big desk but its very small desk with small couch. Location is way better. Small walk on the left you can go to the strip mall with train station. Do some shopping there. I normally work... More

I have stayed many times at Motel One lodges. As always, the price-quality ratio is absolutely great. Nice room, very comfortable, very clean and quite quiet. Breakfast is fine too. Nice ambient My best option in business trips around Germany

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
