I felt totally safe traveling alone in this neighborhood. Shopping is fantastic. Hugo Boss, Armani, Galleries Lafayette, Escada, and more. Checkpoint Charlie is a 10 minute walk. Reichstag Building is 15 minutes. The room itself was very nice. The bathroom was done so beautifully. I'm not sure who thought of light green to put on all the walls, but everything... More

What an excellent choice we made. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by reception even though we were early (arrived before check-in time). We were given clear and concise instructions on how to reach our room and what a room it was. Our welcome letter advised us that we were one of the first to try the renovated room (comfort... More

We stayed at Clipper City Home Apartments (top floor) for 2 nights late September / early October. The service was friendly and the apartment was nice and spacious. There is also a Nespresso machine in the kitchen, but capsules are only provided upon arrival and then have to be purchased from reception (80 Euro cents each - that's ok, but... More

Clipper was a very good choice for us. It was very near the Brandenburg Gate where the marathon started. The rooms are well appointed with a well stocked kitchenette. All the appliances were in excellent condition and the rooms were very large. There were lots of great stores next to the hotel as well as great restaurants. It was also... More

Overall, I'd say this was a great place to stay. Compared to any of the downtown Berlin (Mitte) hotels, this is MUCH cheaper, and you get a LOT of room compared to most European hotels. Positives: 1) Thomas at the front desk- very friendly and accommodating when he could be, had great recommendations and was just an overall great guy.... More

We stayed at this apartment with our children (13 y & 1 y). The place was very suitable for us. I had the chance to cook baby food for my baby at the kitchenette. Also, I had the chance to wash and dry our clothes for free. The location was wonderful, we easily reached to the most popular attractions, touristic... More

There were a few problems, but for that kind of room it's really, nothing. Yes, it was too hot. Yes, it was too noisy on the street (because of the construction work), but everything else was more than I expected. My boyfriend had a birthday that same day we stayed, so he got a small surprise from the staff. Breakfast... More

I love the location and the apartment. It was one reason for returning to Berlin. Walking distance to good food, shops, attractions, and transportation. Friendly staff. The apartment has everything I needed to be comfortable, including a fan for some rather warm days. I love ending the day on the verandah, listening to the sounds of Berlin. If I return... More

Comfortable and spacious room, with varanda and fully equipped kitchen, including Nespresso machine. Friendly staff, excellent location right off Friedrichstrasse, walking distance from shops, restaurants and concert halls. No free wifi at the hotel. Bathtub slippery and difficult to get in and out for guests who are not very tall.
