This was my fourth visit to Berlin and my third stay at the BW Mitte. Since my last stay little has changed, and hence my favourable review in 2012 still stands. The hotel still operates with friendly, efficient staff, happy to help with any queries you may have. The rooms are generally on the small side, but are well equipped.... More

We stayed two nights at the Berlin-Mitte and were very pleased with the all aspects of our stay, the rooms although compact were were well appointed quiet clean and comfortable with reliable WiFi, the breakfast room has a fantastic selection to please any guest and all the hotel staff were never anything less than courteous and helpful. The location of... More

Rooms was small, cleaning wasn´t automatically (you need to put sign "make my rom" if you want to have it). Pressure for water pipes was awfully (we leave in 6th floor), and suddenly in the morning it stops when I stand under the shower shampooing my hear.

Now that Friedrichstrasse has become the centre of Berlin's shopping and visitor activities, hotel prices in the area have become stratospheric. Best Western Mitte offers reasonable value and comfort to the non-five star traveller. It's located in a side street, but no more than a 5/10 minute walk to the U-bahn or Friedrichstrasse station, which is a central hub for... More

The room I had in this hotel is nothing to write about particularly, but it was clean, just very small. What makes this hotel a good one to stay at if visiting Berlin is it's location. I was able to walk to the Brandenberg Gate, Museum Island, Tiergarten and many other sites. The breakfast buffet was very well populated with... More

The hotel is nice. In the breakfast room you may find the weather conditions for the day. The hotel offers a very good breakfast, by the way. The rooms are clean, wide and well equipated. The staff is helpful but not very sympathic. The nearby area is a little bit strange (there is a small dark square in front of... More

Great location, only a few minutes away from spittlemarkt train station which was close to all the attractions. Room was very clean. Good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Wifi was very bad though, there was a tiny spot in the room where we could connect. Other than that, I loved the place and I would recommend it.

Friendly staff, very clean comfortable hotel in excellent location. Only disappointment was the continental breakfast. Coffee and food were good, bit pricy for me as I only had bread and cheese but good value if you eat meat or if you eat a big breakfast. Decided to take a single bread roll to eat while sitting in the park area... More

This gem is only a block and a half off the bustling Friedrichstraße. It's immediately adjacent to the Ukraine's embassy and an easy walk to many of Berlin's premier attractions. The rooms are small but totally functional. We bought a big spray of cut flowers and they brightened our 3 day stay in the delightful 1st floor room. Our room... More

It was ok we could hear water pipes running all the time in our room, not too much happening at the location. It was close to some restaurants a souvenir shop and a train station, there was a world war 2 bunker next door.
