It was nice staying in Pension Ingeborg. The breakfast was great with varieties. I like the spacious room and being cleaned very well. The only minor problem was the shared toilet/bath room. The bath room on the hallway was supposed to be for two single rooms to share. Unfortunately, people who stayed in the suites also came to use the... More

Such a charming, typical 'Old Berlin' pension - although the room we got was a bit outdated, it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was really good, apart from B-class machine-made coffee. Besides the pension itself, do not forget to try the (very ancient) lift !

The rooms are small but cute. The location of this pension is really good, you can walk to almost anything. The breakfast spread was surprisingly really good. Its clean & has an old world charm to it, the bathrooms are small but tidy. I really liked the common areas. The only irritant is that after the evening there is no... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
