Good location, good personal, easy to find it. The room was really good, with new TV and furnitures. Good kitchen, The sofa is also really good. Reccomend for group of friends who want to have dinner together. YOU HAVE A SUPERMARKT JUST 5 MINUTES WALKING.

We stayed at these apartments for 3 nights. The morning we arrived it was early, as we had come straight from the overnight train from Paris. We realised we probably wouldn't be able to move in to the apartment before check in time, but asked in the hope that it may be ready, as we were tired. The resultant drama... More

We've stayed there for a week, in the 2-bedroom apt (2 adults and 2 kids). it was very spacious and quiet. The kitchen had the basics, there was a 42" plasma TV and DVD and a small stereo. The location is great specially if you are with car (like we were), lot's of restaurants right around the corner, a supermarket really... More

This was my second stay at Residenz Prenzelberg Apartments. This time I got a small studio in the 7th floor ( one flight of stairs). It happens to be the smallest studio in the building, but it was well equipped and we managed very well. The problem I found was with the Internet connection, which I specifically requested when I... We are staying in the "Grand Suite " right now. The apartment is on the 6th floor , has a living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A little nook of the living room serves as a kitchen. As usual in vacation rentals don't expect a fully fitted out kitchen. There are a few pots and pans, enough to prepare... More

We were repeat customers at the Prenzlauer Berg apartments and had been very pleased in previous visits. The location is fabulous, it's in a hip and trendy neighborhood, near a Kaiser's supermarket, really good and fun area. But the apartment we had this visit was very worn. The smell of cigarette smoke was so imbedded in the apartment that it... More

Last year I booked an apartment for 5 people, and we were very pleased to find that it was everything we were looking for. The apartment was super comfortable, it had two complete bathrooms, two bedrooms and a living room and dining room. And a balcony! This year I'm going with a friend to a smaller, studio apartment. The price... More

Booked this apartment and was not really sure what to expect as it was fairly cheap and there was only one trip advisor review but was pleasantly suprised when we arrived. The apartment is very clean, modern and spacious which are the basics you really need to go exploring also had kitchen facilities which were handy to be able to... More

Stayed 4 nights at this apartment. It is easy to locate and it has secured doors so you can only enter the building/complex with a key. We could not communicate with the staff by language as we did not speak any German and they did not speak English, but we managed to communicate by actions. The staff were extremely friendly... I and my wife would like to spend a midweek in Berlin and we didn’t want to go to a hotel. We found these Topdomizil Prenzlauer Berg apartments for a reasonable price. The location of the apartment is just outside the center and all the highlights. But the Prenzlauer area is a nice area with good and cheap restaurants and... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
