The Hotel is situated in a very good position, close to the Sauvigny station. The room was very comfortable and the staff very kind and helpful. They took very good care of me since the very first day when I contacted them by email. They also serve a very good breakfast in a comfy dining room.

Stayed here twice and would definitely go back again. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Very friendly people. Good breakfast too. A little out of the way but a great pub nearby (Dicke Wirtin) and good restaurants in walking distance. Public transpotation just out the door and taxi stand also very close. Very reasonable price. A real find. Great for single traveller.

The location was great as a base for our sight seeing ,very close to train stations, restaurants and shopping. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly The room on the ground floor facing the garden is fairly dark and can feel damp at times

This is an excellent choice if you are looking for a base from which to see Berlin and Potsdam and other sites near Berlin. We stayed seven nights. Rooms are good size, modern bathrooms, lots of hot water. Very quiet despite being on a large street. This used to be a grand house, now renovated and still being restored. Good... More

When we had contacted PP, they had no rooms left but did offer us an apartment option associated with them. It was a great little spot and it kind of felt like we were residents of the city instead of just visitors...especially when we headed home for the evening and cooked our own meals. A functional living space for sure.... More

This family-owned and -operated small hotel is in an excellent location with excellent transit connections. Ten minutes walk to the Staatsoper am Schiller, fifteen minutes to the Deutsche Oper Berlin. The Zoo U-Bahn is a few blocks or a couple bus stops. Room on back wing was quiet, clean, and modestly furnished. Private bath was compact but well laid-out. Breakfast... More

I found this little gem some years ago and come here about 6 times every year! It is situated in an old Berlin house in a very nice area which is mostly inhabited by locals - which I love. The rooms are very clean - basic but have what I need. The bathrooms are quite newly renovated and there are... More

On arrival I was greeted with a hug and was swept up to my room. I had reserved a single and while it was small, it suit my needs for the trip. It was clean, quiet and warm. The shower warmed up quickly and had good water pressure. There is not hairdryer in the room, but if you ask at... More

Look, no one who doesn't live in Berlin visits there to hang out in a hotel. So if you were expecting a bunch of frills: room service, and seaside views don't bother. But if you are looking for a decent place that's centrally located, safe, and has a hostess like Daisy Steiner that will go out of her way to... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
