We stayed only 1 night, during our short residence we experience water leakage, wrong bed type in our rooms. The staffs was superb, they handle everything perfectly and it's definitely a Hotel that we would recommend.

Myself and a friend stayed here recently and thought it was awful. The hotel was in a terrible location, was poor value and felt like a hospital. Throughout the entirety of the night we stayed there was constant knocking on doors and loud music playing from rooms. As young people we don't mind noise and expect some rowdiness that is... More

Stayed 2 nights at this location while in Berlin going solo. My room was Spartan, but the bathroom was very well laid out, and the accommodations were good for the simple traveler. The breakfast was excellent and well worth including it in your stay. I got this hotel through an air berlin reservation, and was unaware that it was a... More

We chose this hotel simply because the easyjet hotel in the centre on Berlin was fully booked. Although it was one of the cheapest we found, I don't think we would stay there again. It was sold to be more of a hotel on the website we chose. However it is definitely a hostel. Was jam packed with school trips.... More

City break & a football match with friends was the agenda. We wanted a cheap fairly central place to stay & the Aletto was a great choice. Room was clean & comfy but basic. Staff were friendly & helpful. Kreuzberg was great for restaurants & bars, good food at reasonable prices. Transport around Berlin is easy with cheap frequent trains.... More

We booked a private room with en suite and ended up in a dorm, but we were the only ones in there, so it was private. The room was at the front of the hotel, so we woke early to sun streaming through curtains that could not be closed properly and the sound of the S-Bahn rattling by. Beds were... More

I booked this place as part of a residential school trip. I was highly highly impressed with the level of service and the quality of the food provided. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. Will be using again November 2014 for the same trip. PS - the coffee is excellent (and free!)

Two of us stayed here for several nights over New Years. Overall it was a good stay with a clean and comfortable room. The not-so-good: WIFI connection is only available in the lobby and common area on the ground floor and was a bit spotty (probably due to so many users), the room locations were a bit spread out as... We stayed here during a fieldtrip to Berlin and the service was excellent. The lobby and communial areas were clean and had several vending machines as well as comfy seats. The continental breakfast in the morning was lovely and it did vary slightly everyday. The clientele at breakfast seemed to be predominantly students, with some families and independent travelers.
