This Hotel is a fantastic budget place to stay if your planning on visiting Berlin. It's 5 minutes walk to the U barn. 24 hour reception, with very helpful staff. Rooms are clean and bright whether it's a single or family room. Free coffee and tea for residents and other great facilities are available. All this for a budget price.... More

Slept really well in our private/en-suite room. Not much noise as most 'youths' were at school (apart from in the courtyard at times from a few school trips). Great continental style breakfast hall with fresh salads too and the WIFI in the public areas works really well. The location is fine as it's next to two stations with variable options... More

For such a price - it is pretty nice variant. Tasty breakfasts, good location (between two U-Bahn stations). Staff was really kind and helpful. Sometimes in the morning it was pretty noisy because of the great amount of students, but thats not a big disadvantage.

The hotel is very well located, near 2 U-Bahn stations in a nice area. The staff here are very friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. As a couple we had plenty of space in a 6 bed room (2 bunk beds, and 2 single beds). Unsurprisingly for a hostel, the rooms were basic but clean. We were told... More

We stayed only 1 night, during our short residence we experience water leakage, wrong bed type in our rooms. The staffs was superb, they handle everything perfectly and it's definitely a Hotel that we would recommend.

Myself and a friend stayed here recently and thought it was awful. The hotel was in a terrible location, was poor value and felt like a hospital. Throughout the entirety of the night we stayed there was constant knocking on doors and loud music playing from rooms. As young people we don't mind noise and expect some rowdiness that is... More

Stayed 2 nights at this location while in Berlin going solo. My room was Spartan, but the bathroom was very well laid out, and the accommodations were good for the simple traveler. The breakfast was excellent and well worth including it in your stay. I got this hotel through an air berlin reservation, and was unaware that it was a... More

We chose this hotel simply because the easyjet hotel in the centre on Berlin was fully booked. Although it was one of the cheapest we found, I don't think we would stay there again. It was sold to be more of a hotel on the website we chose. However it is definitely a hostel. Was jam packed with school trips.... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
