First of all there is a very different lobby. It has a good location and kind staff. You start with a great breakfast to new day. Honostly, me and my friends thought that, an easy buffet would be served. We all liked that place.

Perks: 1. Very large and beautiful common room 2. walking distance to bahn station 3. Close to checkpoint charlie & topography of terror 4. Close to mall of berlin Downs: 1. Creepy hallway! Lights are dim and quiet and often have to walk a lot in these hallways cos it is a large hostel building

Lidl supermarket a few metres away. Nice large dorm rooms with a large locker per bed. Wifi was accessible for me on the first floor. Pool tables and huge kitchen. Halls and overall building is a bit old though

I stayed here in September for two days, very good location; very close to Potsdamer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie, Bundestag, various museums and monuments. The hostel seems fairly quiet when I was there. It is close to a grocery store and transportation, staff was helpful and the lounge area was decent. Breakfast was so-so. Overall I thought it was decent value.

Me and my friend stayed here for 3 days in November! The hostel was fab not a single complaint. Everyone was friendly and the beds...wow they where hard to get out of in a morning, so so comfy. They have a massive hall/common room and a bar with very cheap drinks and chocolates. The hostel itself is pretty much in... More

Very good place for a very good prize. Lot of different spaces, very good location, nice and clean. It definitely made my trip in Berlin memorable. I met a lot of travelers, who, as I was, were just trying to discover the world and change experiences. Very nice place to stay in.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. The rooms are clean and neat and there is a well equiped kitchen available. There is a great downstairs dining area with a bar available. Breakfast is served for €6 and is all you can eat. There is a lidl 100m from the hostel entrance for convienient shopping. The Anhalter... More

I went to Berlin with a large group of friends and we all seeked for a cheap and close to the center hostel - I can say this might be one of the best options in Berlin. I stayed in a room for 8 people and the conditions were pretty good for what you can expect of an hostel. The... More

A friend and myself stayed in a twin bedroom with shared bathroom in the hallway at the Three Little Pigs Hostel this month. We found it to be basic, but comfortable and clean (considering what you are paying for the room - we only paid €19 pp p/night). Free wifi is strong throughout the hostel. Breakfast costs €6 - it's... More

I stayed in a 4-bed room, and it was really huge (not like in usual hostels, where there's no place to move). The toilet and the bathroom are in the corridor, on the 4th floor there's a kitchen, where you can cook. The breakfast cost 6 euros, but it's really worth paying for it: the food you get is very... Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
