This hotel is spread over three floors above a toy shop in the Berlin equivalent of Knightsbridge. It felt more like a pension than a hotel, providing bed and breakfast. The room was a good size and offered a good view of the street. The shower maintained good pressure but the temperature was a bit tempremental. The staff seemed quite... More

I have changed my reservation in a more centered hotel one day before visiting. No good idea. I am paying the same money for a pension that is average. Nevertheless the room is big and looks clean. The warm water is a problem as on mornings is coming with intervals. Definitely not one of my future iptions

We stayed here mid-November 2015. The staff was courteous and the breakfast was just fine. It gets 4 stars because it cost $60 per night and was in a great neighborhood. I'd stay again in a second. The bed was nothing to write home about and the room was fairly tight, but seriously, $60 per night. Our expectations were certainly... More

The location is perfect for the tourist stay in Berlin, doesn't matter, if it is a short stay or a longer trip. You have a Subway station nearby, an S-station Charlottenburg, the hotel is situated near the Kurfürstendamm and in 20 walking minutes you can arrive to the Memorial Church and railway station Zoologischer Garten. Also the stop, where you... More

The hotel is near Kurfürstendamm,5-10 minutes for the near sbahn or ubahn. The room was nice, clean and comfortable for two people. The stuff was nice. Possible to park the car. Near the hotel is possible to find place where you can eat.

Did order an extra pillow when we booked. As we arrived there there was no extra pillow in the room. The reception could not fix a new pillow but we had to wait util the day after. Serms like the staff has no intrest what so ever to at least try to make their guests comfortable.

Booked this hotel based on the reviews. when we arrived the receptionist hardly spook any English and when he heard we didn't speak German very well he was annoyed and sighed deeply. We asked him some question, he answered them short and annoyed and went back to his work. The room was ok, shower was very old and small, bed... More

Clean, friendly service, good location, good prices! The breakfast buffet was fine. The lift is an antique thing and must be preserved! All over: a clean, friendly little hotel with a very good location.

We found that hotel reasonable, good breakfast buffet, (ok, the bread was not fresh) but enough for all tastes. Rooms been very big and clean, unfortunately without toilet. This was on the corridor. It could be said 3 stars are too much for this standard and the price not very cheap. However, I would book it again.

It's ''not bad'', very noisy. We were kept awake by neighbors till well after 01:00. Breakfast was OK. Quite difficult to find the place as well, it doesn't look like a hotel at first. The down floor doesn't belong to the hotel. I'd choose another hotel if i need to go to Berlin again. It's not worth the money, it's... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
