This hotel was really nice and clean. Close to laundry mat, which was necessary due to our backpacking for 5 weeks. It is a hostel style, so sharing bathrooms. But they were quite comfortable. The breakfast was awesome, lots of variety. The staff were friendly. There isn't a lift, so carry all your luggage up and down steps.

Stayed here for three nights. Nice little hotel with friendly staff. Room was big and beds were comfortable. Bathroom had a spacious shower. Rooms also had a safety box. Super place. No frills and very basic. Not even a TV (but good WiFi) in our room. Room was spacious. Beds were comfortable. Room was extremely clean and so were the bathrooms. We stayed at the STEPS for one night in late December 2011. We liked the place and the atmosphere. Definitely a good choice, if you would like to wake up in the morning, a bit away from the hectic Berlin center. The STEPS deserves a lot of business in the future!
