We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights mid week in November 2008. We chose it as we wanted to stay in this area of Berlin and this was one of the few hotels which included breakfast in the room rate. Do not be put off by the rather drab entrance. We had a bright, nicely furnished, large room with... more

Most of the visitor came from israel. Location, service and cleaning was very good. But braekfast had a lot of problem. If you came to eat at 8:30 or after this hours and the salad or bread or coffe is finish from the buffet. .nobody make sure to fill the empty service dishes. In sunday breakfast at 9:30, there is... more

We enjoyed wonderful service at the Chateau. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was great and the food was excellent. The hotel is located off the Ku'Dam, with shopping and transportation nearby. The staff spoke English and was always helpful. The furniture in the lobby was a bit gothic, but that's just a matter of taste. All in all, a... more

Had a terrific stay. Reception staff very freindly. Requested non-smoking room, was given one on the third floor. Room spacious modern and clean. Excellent breakfast, meat prepared and served on a seperate section making it most convenient for strict vegetarians like myself. The hotel is centraly situated, very close to public transport and in walking distance to the synagogue. more

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights in November on a package deal. Although the decor is a little dated, we loved this hotel and it deserves a higher Tripadvisor rating. The location is excellent, 5 minutes from the S (the overhead railroad), not far from one of the main transportation stations at the Zoolgical Gardens and just... more

Located in a quiet street crossing the Ku-Dam avenue, in the heart of the lively west Berlin, with 4 bus lines just 100 meters from the hotel, U-ban and S-ban stations about 300 meters away. The stuff were kind and helpful, all of then spoke good English. One lovely young lady in the reception even spoke fluent Hebrew. The room... more

Rooms: Spacious, very clean, renovated, comfortable beds. Quiet (we requested a room facing the back). We are very sensitive to clean and quiet rooms and were fully satisfied with our room. Breakfast (included) was rich and very good. Location: Very good, 5 minutes from S/U-Bahn or Bus to everywhere. A supermarket just next door. Downside: 1. Bath curtains were removed... more

Not a bad word to say about this hotel - just opened 2006, very clean, friendly helpful staff (didn't encounter the language problem previous reviewer mentioned), hearty breakfast, very comfortable. As mentioned, the hotel is just off kurfurstendam which is a central commercial street. 15 minutes walk from the zoo or Europa Center, where you can catch the 100/200 buses... more
