Comfortable beds, quiet at night, AC (a real plus in the summer,) clean. Location was a little bit of a walk to the main attractions. Wifi sufficient to use VoiP service. I would definitely choose this hotel again, particularly because it was so well priced.

I stayed here for two nights with my Partner visiting from Australia. The room, breakfast and staff where excellent. Even when my Partner didnt feel well one morning the friendly staff from your Restaurant ( middle aged Lady Brown hair) prepared a Little tray for me to take to my Partner. Thank you for a nice stay.

Well appointed, clean room with all facilities needed for a short stay in a busy city. Centrally located with U-Bahn stations close by. Walking distance from many of the main attractions of Berlin. Easy to check into with no language problems.

Great location, very nice room, reception very friendly & helpful with the exception of one sour female who in the evening we asked to make a cup of tea for my wife which she did so begrudgingly along with a beer for myself. ( no one else in the area so not busy)The tea was very weak & when we... More

Efficient, clean, well organised hotel in centre of Berlin. Most of the main attractions and centre of the city are within walking distance, and lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Would recommended Morelo's restaurant and Yasmin restaurant nearby for great value and great tasting food! Really good modern hotel, would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Winters Hotel near Checkpoint Charlie for 3 nights with my 12 year old son. We had a twin room right next to the Hotel sign on the street side. The room was spotless and had 2 beds, good lights, a chair, a wardrobe with a safe (staff are honest because I left it open one day... More

This hotel was everything we were looking for whilst staying in Berlin for one weekend. The hotel was absolutely immaculate and clearly well cared for and maintained. The staff were all incredible friendly and helpful. We arrived around midnight on Friday and had no problems checking in. When we checked out on the Sunday we were able to leave our... More

I stayed in June and the hotel was perfect. We had to use the laundry device, I handed my stuff in on the evening, and it was ready to pick up in the morning. The staff wer very friendly and accommodating. Just down the road from checkpoint Charlie and 5 minutes from the underground. Would recommend and definitely choose it... More

Stayed for three nights with two other couples. Although all rooms booked together one couple had a much smaller and less well appointed room. Other than that all the rooms were clean and in good decorative order. The breakfast area was large enough for us all and the choice excellent. The location was perfect for us to get to all... More

This hotel is centrally located within walking distance of many different city attractions. The staff was helpful and service was amazing. The rooms are small although updated and clean. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future!

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
