I was there at the end of November in 2014 and it was great. Granted, if you've had a spot to drink, finding your room via the courtyard can be "emotional", but the apartments and their little cafe - absolutely perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to any of my friends or family. There's plenty of space... More

Especially when you're looking for a place where you can stay with more than two people, this is definitely something to consider. The apartments are clean, bright and spacious. How spacious depends on the type of apartment you rent and its location in the building; there's a lot of variation between the individual places. This is not a hotel, and... More

I picked this Apartment for 3 of us because of the positive reviews from TripAdvisor and wasn't disappointed at all. I had a spacious, clean room on the top floor and no problem with wifi. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, TV, mini amplifier. Location: 5 min. walk from U Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz station, convenient connection to S+U Alexanderplatz where we... More

We rented an apartment for 4 days. The apartment was spacious, clean and modern and its location was absolutly beautiful. Close to Metro, Tram, the Radiotower - and shopping malls. Only downside - the sleeping sofa was horrible. The staff at the hotel tried to fix it with extra thick duvets to sleep on - it helped a bit :)

Very close by to the train station and a convenient store. The staff was friendly and the room was large/modern. The kitchen was equipped with pans/pots, plates, cups, utensils, everything you needed. They also gave us a bottle of white wine! The beds were comfy and air quaility wasn't bad. We stayed on the 1st floor, wasn't much wind compared... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was well appointed - free wifi, microwave, flat screen TV and very close to the local Underground station. Given that we were close to the main road, the apartment was exceptionally quiet - and the beds comfortable too! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again

I was there last weekend due to Berlin Marathon with my family. We joined a 4 places apartment and was excellent. The place is nice, clean, well equipped and big. Very well located with a U-Bahn (U2/U8) station 2' minutes walking, a supermarket very close and near alexander Platz if you want to walk a little bit. The personel is... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
