We,ve came here for the half marathon Berlin. Got a 2 bedroom apartment. More than enough towels and a complete kitchen. What a great space, close at stadtmitte. An U-bahn station is close by. Even a parking space in a garage is possible. You'll have to make reservations for this.

We stayed as a family of 5 in a 2 - bed, 4th floor apartment in February. It's spacious, light, stylish with a balcony and a view of the TV tower (the tallest structure in Europe). We are a few minutes from Alexander Platz station from which to explore Berlin with ease. Outside we have a choice of many restaurants... More

I've stayed in these apartments twice in the last two months and have not been disappointed. Very affordable and able to cater for large groups, the apartments are clean, modern and well maintained. Fantastic location and within walking distance of Alexanderplatz, I would highly recommend these apartments.

We went to Schonhouse Apartments for the 4th or 5th time. We really still love it. Normally we rented the junior apartment, but we chose to go for the senior I this time and it was even better than the junior. They have an elevator, the room is big and clean. We loved it! Again! And for max. 4,50 Euro... More

My husband and I stayed at Schoenhouse with our two teenagers between Christmas and New Year’s. Our family was interested in an apartment hotel so we’d have a little extra space and wouldn’t have to eat out at restaurants for every meal. We also wanted to be within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Schoenhouse fit our needs very well.... More

The suburb seems very run down but lots of renovation is taking place in this area. These apartments were easy to find (we had a gps!) , modern, clean and a great size for the three of us. It was easy to get around Berlin using the train system. Don't drive! The service here was good and breakfast was also... More

We stayed in the Schoenhouse Apartments at the beginning of December 2014. The location of the apartment was perfect, near the U2 line and only one station away from Alexanderplatz, surrounded by good restaurants and local stores (and two supermarkets nearby). We took a 4 person apartment, with is very big and made the kids very happy. Unfortunately the equipment... More

This place is excellent. They'll pick you up from the airport, help you into your apartment and then ensure you make the most of your visit. Friendly, family focused and excellent value for money - this place is great!!!! Thank you Khalid.

Excellent quality for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it! It is easy to reach by bus, subway or even walking because it's very close to the main station, as well to many other places to shop or do sightseeing. The rooms are spacious, clean and fully equipped. There is a good breakfast selection for an additional but also... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
