A great location if you wish a walking tour of central Berlin. Only 15 min walk to Brandenburg and Bundestag, Check Point Charlie etc. Hotel is clean, reasonable sized rooms for centre of a European city. Main complaint was that air conditioning was hopeless and as a northern European, thats my number one concern in the summer. Spending in excess... More

The Hotel is located in the Friedrichstrasse, 2 min walk from the S-train and underground station. The street is usually crowded, full of cafes, restaurants and shops. You have a 10 min walk to the Museum Island and 15min to the Brandenburger Tor. The room (425) was big, with fresh colors, a lot of space and a huge cupboard. The... More

The hotel was perfect :). The location was near enough for us to walk to most of the sights we wanted to see. We enjoyed the tapas bar in the evenings. Also it's fun to sit at their outside patio , enjoy drinks and people watch . . The staff was great, they helped us get "last minute " tickets... More

Stayed here in July for 2 nights . Left really impressed , hotel is super convenient to main attractions and really well priced . Stayed in room 316 unfortunately no view (friends in room 450 had river views). Train station both S and U are are right there .. We were easily able to walk to train station with luggage... More

This hotel is within walking distance of most of the sites you will want to visit in Berlin, and with a couple minutes of both U bahn and S bahn stations. Rooms are pleasant, beds are comfortable. My room was right by the elevators, but it was well sound-proofed. The rooms were clean and modern. I had a room overlooking... More

This hotel may be my new favourite hotel in Berlin. The room was quite spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. The bathroom was also big and very clean, good shower. The breakfast had lots to choose from, both hot and cold. There was a cook, who made omelets and fied eggs. Lots of fresh fruit offered and nice sparkling wine.... More

Very comfortable, well-located and well-run hotel. The breakfast is excellent, the rooms are clean and the hotel is on the Spree and in the centre of Mitte. We have stayed twice and will return on our next trip to Berlin

Stayed here for a weekend and would go again. Rooms were clean and warm. Right in the centre and close to the markets. Lovely decorations in the hotel and the staff were great. Nothing was a problem, I will stay with this hotel group again.5⭐️⭐️

Stayed here for a long weekend. Staff were really helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. Location was perfect just near the river. Walking distance of all main attractions. Breakfast was stunning so much to choose. Would certainly recommend this hotel and we will be returning.

Hotel was a good standard, staff were really helpful and pleasant. Good location to U bahn and S bahn so could get anywhere in the city, and walking distance to some of the major sites. Right on the river so we sampled a couple of the local bars too. Only gripe was the wifi, one device per day is not... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
